It doyndex like sort of bird or maybe like a rodent making a squeaking chattering type noise. So I was asking people what it could be. Most said crickets... Apparently Its just the gate  I've been asked to go see about 2 jobs this weekend/next week. shirleyt
Think it time to organise Stacey's welcome party/ Poms in Perth Christmas meet up. How's Sunday 6 th December at Matilda bay for a picnic/ Barbie at midday? Nice view, plenty of shade, kids can splash around in the water and play ball games. Who's coming? Guest guest90395
When I was travelling my friend did cleaning in the hostel in exchange for free accommodation. She did 2-3 hours cleaning in the morning and then waitressed at night. Maybe something to look into?
gee13
Hi Stacey This is a real must do in WA http://www.aussiewanderer.com.au/tours/1-day-pinnacles/?gclid=Cj0KEQiA-NqyBRC905irsrLr-LUBEiQAWJFYTjhOk38JmYDXBusPTrYCFFB--HynH3aWoFMxvy5HQRkaAoJn8P8HAQ Yanchep is okay.. it used to be much more isolated and lovely.. but now its jus a lovely 'suburb' ... Two Rocks is further out and has the best beaches.. Imagine Cottesloe white sand with no shops or people! Down South is also most Beautiful. Beach townships of Dunsborough and Margaret River, Karri forests of Pemberton and Walpole Valley of the Giants. G
Quokka2005
Going out for a few on Saturday with someone who invited me out which was kind of them! I've only had one glass of wine since being here
Parley
Just curious but why is it a secret the members you are visiting or being taken out by ? Isn't it nice that someone is seeing you. I wouldn't have thought it needs to be kept a secret who it is who you socialise with. I know some others do this to eg Tink but I've never understood why. If I was meeting a member for a drink I wouldn't feel the need to hide the fact. Unless people think other members might get jealous but that sounds a bit childish. Quokka2005
Haha its not a secret! I just don't think people would be interested in names. Well so far ive met Fiona and Shirley t was my tour guide the other day. Not met anyone else so far.
Parley
Of course we are interested. It reminded me of when Tink was on her UK trip. She would say things like she had a lovely day with a lovely PIO member who she stayed with or went round Liverpool with etc etc but would never say who it was. I just never understood why but I guess there is a reason for it.
