  1. You can update your passport details online using your immigration account. You should do that as soon as you have the new details and certainly before attempting to re-enter Australia. As long as you have done that, you should have no problems clearing immigration upon your return. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You don't all have to arrive at the same time. You will all have your own visa linked to your own passport. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. If you can find a landlord/agent willing to rent to you immediately upon arriving in Australia, then yes, you can rent "straight away". The most important thing in the eyes of the property owner is that you can pay for the rental. That might be challenging considering you have no job at that time, but assuming you can demonstrate a suitably large bank balance, and you can sell yourselves well, then that issue can be overcome. 4. Individuals meet the citizenship criteria on their own merits. You can list another applicant as an important person that you would like to attend a ceremony alongside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I doubt that employers would select candidates who don't yet have a visa to live and work in Australia, unless the job advert mentions something about employer sponsorship being available. Its quite common for job interviews to be done using Skype, so your location doesn't really matter. Be careful about "moving to Sydney" on a tourist visa. If you turn up at Sydney Airport with all your luggage, no return ticket, any paperwork in your luggage which may indicate that you are looking for work etc, you may end up getting put on the next flight back to where you came from, and a 3 year ban on any further entry to Australia. First things first - Are you eligible for a visa? What is your occupation? Its probably best to consult a registered migration agent. There are several agents who participate in these forums. There is also an "Ask an agent" section in the forums. Perhaps PM one of the agents to get a professional view of your strategy?
  9. The big secret was revealed in his post #15 above. "So the solution is to radically decrease consumption of carbs and sugar, effectively switching the body's fuel supply from using carbs to instead, using fat as fuel. The body is then forced to withdraw from its own fat reserves to provide energy. And so you effortlessly lose weight. Couple this with some moderate exercise - walking, swimming, weight training to maintain muscle mass, and the weight loss becomes effortless. "
  10. If you have the ability to change the country settings within the settings on the TV, then yes.

  13. My eldest 2 went to Greensborough Secondary College; there were plenty of kids at that school from Doreen, Whittlesea and Diamond Creek. Not entirely sure of the circumstances; maybe the kids were already enrolled in the school and at some point their parents moved house out of the local area? I know there is Diamond Valley College in Diamond Creek. Whittlesea is in City of Whittlesea council area. Diamond Creek is in Nillumbik Shire. Doreen is in both of those council areas depending on where you will be living. Whittlesea seems to me to be a quiet little place; I only ever pass through it on my bike on my way up to the Kinglake Hills. No Trains directly, but it has bus services. Nearest Metro train station would be South Morang, Epping or Hurstbridge. Driving in towards the City along Plenty Road at rush hour times is a very congested route. Diamond Creek is much busier, especially at weekends. Busy little town centre, some nice cafes. Diamond Creek is on the Hurstbridge train line if good public transport is a major consideration also. Doreen isn't known to me all that well; suffice to say that it is a massive housing area, not on a train line, but served by buses. Nearest Metro train station would be Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek, or South Morang. Apparently there are plans to extend the train line from Sth Morang to Mernda. There is a very large community out Mernda/Doreen way with not a large amount of facilities. If driving, Yan Yean road gets very busy at times, as does Plenty Road if you go the other way out of Doreen.
  14. They might have the same name, but Virginmobile in the UK is not the same company as Virginmobile in Australia. You are a source of money for the company in Australia so they're not likely to happily let you go and start giving your money to another company overseas just because that company has the same name. They will want to squeeze as much out of you here before you go, so expect to be paying yourself out of the contract. Get your phones unlocked first! At least you'll be arriving in the UK with decent phones ready to utilise the best deals you can find in the UK!
  15. It's not a trick question. Just list the countries you have visited to the best of your knowledge. Use passport entry / exit stamps as a check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
