But I am sad Rik has died, I thought he was very very funny and was so fortunate to see him on stage. Me and my brother spent hours and hours laughing at him, my brother met him 9 years ago and thanked him for making him laugh so much. I kind of think he is a bit iconic of British Humour. I still remember a very funny line from Drop Dead Fred, where he was looking up some old lady's dress and said "Cor, cobwebs". Made me laugh. Love Shoes Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Loved his stuff, I couldn't believe it when I heard the news this morning. so young, will be missed, he gave many of us a bloody good laugh, I loved him best in The New Statesman, And Bottom, I will never forget some of the belly laughs I have had watching him and Aide Edmondson ......
