Australia isn't being swamped by Muslims

I think a bigger fear is Australia being swamped by racists. And some bigoted self centered media magnate giving these imbeciles a voice.

[h=1]SCIENTISTS: EARTH ENDANGERED BY NEW STRAIN OF FACT-RESISTANT HUMANS[/h] [h=3]By Andy Borowitz[/h] , MAY 12, 2015 “Scientists: Earth Endangered by New Strain of Fact-Resistant Humans,” by Andy Borowitz (May 12th)PHOTOGRAPH BY NASA EO/REX/FEATURES VIA APMINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report)—Scientists have discovered a powerful new strain of fact-resistant humans who are threatening the ability of Earth to sustain life, a sobering new study reports. The research, conducted by the University of Minnesota, identifies a virulent strain of humans who are virtually immune to any form of verifiable knowledge, leaving scientists at a loss as to how to combat them. “These humans appear to have all the faculties necessary to receive and process information,” Davis Logsdon, one of the scientists who contributed to the study, said. “And yet, somehow, they have developed defenses that, for all intents and purposes, have rendered those faculties totally inactive.” More worryingly, Logsdon said, “As facts have multiplied, their defenses against those facts have only grown more powerful.” While scientists have no clear understanding of the mechanisms that prevent the fact-resistant humans from absorbing data, they theorize that the strain may have developed the ability to intercept and discard information en route from the auditory nerve to the brain. “The normal functions of human consciousness have been completely nullified,” Logsdon said. While reaffirming the gloomy assessments of the study, Logsdon held out hope that the threat of fact-resistant humans could be mitigated in the future. “Our research is very preliminary, but it’s possible that they will become more receptive to facts once they are in an environment without food, water, or oxygen,” he said. http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/scientists-earth-endangered-by-new-strain-of-fact-resistant-humans
  3. its an awkward situation, aircraft engineering is pretty much on its arse, all agency work with very few full time jobs. the main problem is, so many aircraft engineering companies have gone to the wall (especially here in Victoria) there are 10 guys for every job. there are licensed engineers with 4 types working as AME's for crap money waiting for years to hopefully get a Licensed role. personally I've just jumped ship, trying to get work with transferable skills. the problem is you need to bullshit to get any kind of start with transferable skills. Companies out here want a guy who can do the job and some, standing on their head juggling to even grant an interview. if you cant walk straight into the job, no interview. if you want a challenge, you wont get a interview. if you know you can do it, and you fashion a resume to show you have in the past and they cant prove you cant. you can get yourself an interview. I know this sucks and is arguably dishonest, but we need to eat. suffice to say, this country is so stuck in its ways, change only comes with the collapse of industries. very little evolution. at least its easy to read a company! the most plentiful place for aircraft engineering roles is Brisbane, you will need to pay a few hundred bucks to even get a start, id's pee test etc, i would definitely chat to an agency first though, get a feel for your chances.
  4. more guns there than people. gotta shoot someone. whats the point of having a shiny toy if you never use it. when was the last time a cop was charged for murder? it happens but its rare, they look out for eachother and cover up. all the time cops are covering for bad cops they are as bad as each other and deserve the same justice. ''A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State'' does this suggest if freedom is threatened the public should use their arms to rise up? if so the guy who shot all those cops is the very definition of a patriot.

Housing prices heading back up in Australia.

if you plan to buy in the same market price is just a number. high prices in australia are essentially saying we only want buyers who already have a house, are in the few % who neg gear or are foreigners. strange we'd want real aussies to be taken out of the housing market by foreigners, while also treating those same foreigners to an unlimited holiday full of abuse rape and torture in our very own island paradise? strange bunch these aussies.

    The new tory leader ?

    is Bernard Manning still alive?

    My fellow Australians.....

PC, i think the only hope now is the senate. the current 2 party system results in your vote being right wing or right wing. so if you are against the current system you pretty much have to vote for greens or independents, to stop them at the senate. as always, its all about the policies, do the research, make your mark.

[h=1]Britain’s ‘Leave’ Voters Cleverly Deter Migrants By Destroying Economy[/h]By The Shovel on June 25, 2016 Migration laws will no longer need to change under an independent Britain, because no-one will want to go there to work anyway. “That’s one less thing we’ll have to do,” a jubilant ‘Leave’ voter said this morning, trying desperately to ignore the economy crashing around her. “I probably won’t have a job this time next year, but at least there won’t be a foreigner there to take it,” Leave campaigner Patricia Waite said this morning, noting that she would feed her family with patriotism for the time being until she could find another job. UK Independence Party Leader Nigel Farage said the exit vote was a classic example of British ingenuity. “What better way to stop migrants coming to our shores than to devastate the economy they were coming here to contribute to. It really is a stroke of genius”.

    Australian House Prices

hard to know tbh, i know building a typical Aussie chuck up house is still lucrative in the major cities, and double glazing is coming down in price, a good house can be built for about 10% more in areas around Melbourne. however as most people move on, and this 10% isn't guaranteed to be realized in the resale value, most people build crap. in all honesty, who can blame them? it's all about the money. if you want to have a play with figures and areas http://www.domain.com.au/ is quite a friendly real estate site. it is a minefield though, id fully recommend renting for a bit, find your feet first.

    Australian House Prices

op, you are going about it wrong, if you want a house here in australia you have to build. the thing i feel you havn't taken into consideration is the rarity of buildings a pom, or anyone for that matter from a modern western country would consider a house. once a person makes a house that's comfortable, with the things on your wish list, do you really think they'll sell it? what also plays against you is how aussie houses are sold on land size, this means the quality of a house makes very little to no difference on the asking price. quite simply you'd have to be mad to sell a high quality house here, you wouldn't make your investment back. build... its the only way.
