haha bloody fair weather golfers, I’m not talking about Oz in general but Perth in particular has weather which suits those that enjoy the outdoors, much better climate than the UK.

Bit of a shocker today in Busselton and Margaret River peed it down. Very unlike a WA summer, tail end of the cyclone from up North.

I guess you are not in Perth we spend so much more time outdoors here due to the fantastic climate Perth has. Used to hate the UK weather always found it hindered those that enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Warm one in Perth today but don’t think it reached the forecast 37c, been trying to pack the trailer for camping tomorrow sacked it and had a few beers and a dip in the pool instead!

For anyone considering areas to live when moving back this may be helpful, you can check if NHS trusts are hitting targets for A&E, cancer operations and planned Operations, to be fair most areas I checked seemed to be hitting targets for cancer operations which is good, however very few seem to be hitting A&E targets and planned ops. I couldn't find any trusts that hit all there targets but only checked a few. Scotland is the only place I'd consider living in the UK if I was to ever move back but not a single Scottish trust hits all there targets unfortunately. http://www.bbc.com/news/health-41483322

Oh lots of reasons really, whatever I put on here a couple of the usual posters will come along and try and counter it so I won't go into to much detail, all I will say is I feel the UK is on a downward spiral and it's gone past the point of no return, it's not somewhere I wanted to bring up my children. Plenty of others do though. I also felt a level of claustrophobia after spending sometime in Canada and Australia. Good luck with your move.

I did return from OZ but not during winter having been brought up in the UK I know the UK weather well enough, however I quickly realised we had made a mistake and moved back out to Oz and have never been happier.

Yeah things certainly quiet down over the Christmas period, at least if not a lot local has been selling in general it's not something you are doing wrong, just need to hold on for a bit.

You may still need to show the statements to prove the money is yours, not sure to be honest. Plenty of mortgage/financial advisers out here who would be able to give correct info.
