  1. Hi Waris, That's the standard processing fee for Vetassess trades. There is no priority option for trades.
  2. Being a MARA Registered Agent means upholding a standard of conduct. If this standard is not kept then the RMA is struck off, just like a medical or legal practitioner. MARA takes a dim view of transgressions. While it is true that working with an RMA doesn't guarantee a return of funds if something goes wrong, the RMA would be incentivised to take care of the client and refund as recompense. Otherwise they face an official complaint and threat of being struck off.
  3. I am ethically bound NOT to interfere with another agent’s clients. I clearly said this to you when, earlier in this thread, you asked me for some advice. Go and speak to your agent. Thanks Richard Gregan
  4. Thanks for posting. AASW are willing to consider qualifications on a case by case basis. Social Work undergraduate diplomas can even be considered, but the amount of supporting paperwork in such cases dramatically increases as a result. By the way, as an aside, we've received notification from AASW regarding some of our applicants to say that assessment times are stretching to 20 weeks+. For those applying to AASW, don't expect a quick application, and they don't accept priority requests. Regards, Richard
  5. I have sent you a private msg Antony. Regards, Richard
  6. Make sure you do your research to make sure you are eligible for a visa first, before spending money and time on a skills assessment. You may have already researched this of course, but for the benefit of others, there's no point in having a shiny positive skills assessment if you are not eligible for a visa to begin with, for a variety of reasons (it happens!). Regards, Richard
  7. That will help for sure. Ideally, it would be good to have work experience but that's not an option in your case. Regards, Richard
  8. That's true, and Early Childhood Teacher is on that list now. NSW will select the highest ranking candidates first though, so the more points you can get the better.
  9. It may be worth trying English language test again? if you can get 8s then that's 20 points. Of course, only you will know how feasible this is, based on your experience with IELTS 7. Also at 24 years of age, you are penalised by 5 points. If you wait until you are 25 then you'll get an extra 5 points. This would bring you up to 70 points. Your skills should be valid for 3 years. Of course, nobody can predict what happens with visa rules and occupations in the future so there will also be a risk involved. Regards, Richard
  10. For state sponsorship, you'll need recent work experience, requirements for which vary depending on the state being applied for. Regards, Richard
  11. Thank you. It would be very useful for others if you could.
  12. A two year post graduate course will be decided on a case by case basis - actually all courses are, but the point being there's no guarantee this will be accepted. It will depend on whether the post grad contains the same nursing content as a Bachelor. If you think of someone who has a three year degree in skateboarding technology, then does a one year post grad in nursing, you can understand why ANMAC may be sceptical that the applicant has the same academic nursing training as a nurse who did a three year bachelor. That's an extreme example, but you get the idea. You have a two year course, so hopefully it covers the same ground. Regards, Richard
  13. You may want to approach your skills assessment authority and ask them to do an employment assessment for points test advice - the aim being for them to recognise your work as Accountant. Regards, Richard
  14. Accountant is 2211, and Auditor (internal and external) is 2212, so Auditor wouldn't be classed as closely related employment for visa purposes. Regards, Richard
  15. Yes, I can certainly confirm that our clients have been awarded 10 points for an OTSR and accepted as equivalent to an AQF 3 for visa purposes. Real news, not fake news! Regards, Richard
  16. 8 weeks is average at the moment. Estimates are usually posted on the ANMAC site, although not at present seemingly. however 8 weeks has been about average recently. You can't fast track. Regards, Richard
  17. I must advise you to go to your original agent and get things put right on the immi account. As a policy, I do not get involved in other registered agent’s active cases. Please make an appointment and speak to your agent TODAY. Regards, Richard Gregan
  18. A Bachelor degree is always worth 15 points so you get that, despite it not being relevant. In terms of relevant employment, you have 4 years, possibly 5? The NVQ 3 is only from 2016 so that is not very useful. Immigration will deduct your first three years' work experience so you won't get any work experience points. Your going to have to make up points via other means - a suitable IELTS score would be useful for example. Regards, Richard
  19. I've replied to your PM should you wish to discuss this further. Regards, Richard
  20. Vetassess can take a few weeks to a month or more to sort out the interview, depending on availability of the assessor and the occupation. The person who mentioned 'priority processing' above is wrong. Priority processing is for Vetassess General occupations, not trades. Regards, Richard
  21. Yes, both ANMAC and AHPRA require total theory and placement hours. The nursing registration authority (NMC in the UK) must send this information if the university doesn't have it. Regards, Richard
  22. I think someone had a link to an average price guide which some helpful person might post up. Bear in mind that you should always go with a MARA Registered Agent, and you get what you pay for. Reputable agents, like me, will offer a free, no-obligation assessment of your options, provide a quote for any services you inquire about, and then leave you to take it from there. I would say that of course, but there's plenty of unregistered fly-by-nighters who will happily offer a bottomed-out fee, which seems like such a great deal at first. Then, when the application stalls, they blame you for not providing required information. If they aren't registered then there's no avenue to register a complaint. Regards, Richard
  23. For others contemplating which format to take, bear in mind that IELTS is exam based, and PTE is a language lab style test. Peoples' experience will differ depending on whichever environment they are more comfortable with. Regards, Douglas
