Police ACRO Check completed 24/09/2015, Medical Check completed 01/10/2015, currently completing a C100 removal from jurisdiction for my Stepson, looking to locate to Melbourne Berwick area with my family of five in early 2016.

What time of day do the grant emails come? UK working times or on Aussie time? Not that I obsessively check every email that pings or anything.....!

 

i was the same both my email that came in december prompting me for the medics etc and the grant on wednesday came in the morning UK office time, both around 11 as well.

Sounds like you are in a similar position to us! Still waiting for SA police check to come back and not going to be back in time.

Also not in a rush as need to do the same as you - sell house and get kids Aussie passports done (as well as a thousand other things!!!!!). We are looking at going at the end of August which is 12 months after we applied. Not booking or doing anything until we get the visa tho.

Hello guys!

 

Been lurking for a couple of months so decided to come out of the shadows in the end. I applied for my 309/100 on 23rd June, and got assigned a CO (WP) some time in August. I had my police check done before applying and the medicals a month after - at the time we didn't know we had to way for CO to let us know, and we were eager to get it all done and ready - whoopsies. I was asked for a further police check (EU country) which we uploaded right before Christmas. So now we are on the waiting wagon!

Hi all ? and many congrats to people who have recently received their grants! Good news! I can remember when I was applying for my Former Resident visa the emotions and rollercoaster of it all, even though it's been many years!

A quick question...my daughter has noticed that her immi account has been logged into. It was logged into last night when they were in bed. Any ideas??

After a flurry of grants last week I think they've gone quiet again. Couldn't help hoping id get a grant once my police check was uploaded. How do they get notified that you've uploaded it? Is it just random that they log in and see it? We were given until end of Jan to upload it and do the medical so maybe they look then to see that you've completed everything?

End of June will have seen a large influx of applicants before the price of the visa increased I am guessing, so I can foresee a delay.

Some June applications before and after mine have been granted. Seemingly very quickly after uploading the last piece of evidence. I'm just intrigued as to how their system works...like how can someone who applied in April with a straightforward case still not have a grant notice but end of June ones have. There seems no logic ...i wonder what their system is!

I'm in the same situation as you, applied 23 Jun, co allocated 27 Aug, police check submitted 23 Dec, medical same day, just waiting now. Been married to my Aussie wife over 7 years and have a 5 year old boy with Aussie citizenship, baby due any day who will have citizenship asap. It's frustrating waiting!!!
