Hello everybody, I'm a bit confused about the process for the PR, I lodged an application for the 309/100 last june and just moved over from the UK. In the grant letter it states that the department will write to me in two years from application time to assess me against PR. But reading the comments here, it seems like i will have to write to immigration? could someone please help me shed a light on that.

i was the same both my email that came in december prompting me for the medics etc and the grant on wednesday came in the morning UK office time, both around 11 as well.

Hi all, just realized that I erased my last message by mistake. Just for the purpose of the other applicants wanting to check on grant times, I have been granted my visa after 6 month. So happy it went that quick! Want to thank the owner of this forum for all the usefull infos I could gather on here and wish all the best and grants to everybody waiting!

Hi everybody, Came accross this forum a little while ago and found some very usefull information. Wife is brit/aus citizen, we have a baby and both in our mid 20's, does anybody know if there is a chance I could get PR straight away, having an Australian child? Can't wait for the big move thanks for any replies on that
