  1. If you have gained your required points by other things and got assessed with the assessing body too for skills. Do DIAC still needs evidence on education?
  2. When did you apply? Did you mean bridging visa?
  3. If case is straight - do it yourself! Nothing much complex in terms of process as its quite streamlined and well defined now.
  4. This is generic list below.. apart from this you need to go for meds when you have lodged your visa. You can be done with meds before CO asks for it - infact it is suggested that you do asap after your lodge your visa! For Main applicant 1) University transcripts 2) University degree cert 3) University_grade_card 4) Assessment_Letter_ACS 5) Higher_sec_school_cert 6) IELTS_TRF certificate 7) Secondary_school_cert 8) Form80 9) Identification_cards(ID cards from different countries) 10) Passport 11) Experience Letter in company Letter head 12) Reference letter(with detail of roles etc) from my managers in stamp paper ,along with it i attached business card of the manager(wherever possible) 13) Payslip for all the companies (at-least few months payslip from each employer,CO generally never asks for entire payslip from each company) 14) Tax details wherever applicable ( e.g. form 16 from India). 15) Company offer letters 16) Promotion letters 17) Appreciation letters 18) Relieving letter 19) PCC

    Ielts

Were you asking that how to prepare or how to register :-p ?
  6. Process is simple: 1. Look at skill select site to see which visa would be good for you. To check this: a) check different ANZSCO codes out there - and their desription - check which one will suit main applicant. b) check if this anzsco code lies in SOL or CSOL c) using the points table on skill select site - check how many points you have. d) if your occupation is on SOL and you have/can make 60 points then you can go for 189 - skilled independent. e) if your occupation is on CSOL and/or you have/can make 55 points then you can go for 190 - state sponsored. 2) Get IELTS and skill assessed. In any order - keep in mind you have to score IELTS atleast 6 in each module to be eligible for skilled migration. min 7 in each module = 10points. min8 in each module = 20 points. 3) Lodge EOI (expression of interest) with successful assessment + IELTS. EOI is free of cost, EOI does not need any doc upload, just declaration of your details. 4) if get invite - lodge visa .. and so on.. You should have a clear picture of where to start at least?

    Hello all,

There's some scoring relaxation for people with the speech problem (at clearly pronouncing words) for speaking test (I have heard this) - please check if there's anything for situation like yours.
  8. she would need to take general and score 4.5 to avoid paying this 2nd installment!
  9. I guess after total 2 years (1 year from now) your sponsor would initiate the pr process.. meanwhile if you qualify for 60 points you can yourself start the process before also I believe. 189 - you need 60 points. 190 - you need 55 points (as you will get 5 points from state sponsorship).
  10. Better to lodge EOI asap if you have assessment + IELTS (you would need TRF though) When you are invited - you have 60 days to lodge visa. Then when you lodge visa you would have 6-10 weeks for CO allocation, before that you should upload all required documents - including pcc + done with medicals. If something is missing when CO is allocated - then CO will ask for those missing docs - and will give you 28 days to provide for the same! So plan accordingly.. some country's pcc takes time so apply accordingly! Best of luck!
  11. I also agree with being out sick.. what's wrong with that option?
  12. Contributory visa would be AUD40K - takes 18 months. Other non-contributory visa takes 12-14 years.. has minimal fees!
  13. I believe you need to notify of any such things as change of address for a month or something. Am not sure though!
  14. Yes. currently its just showing the dates of March: http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/#accessibletabscontent0-3 I believe it would be same (1 and 3rd Monday) - being an automated process, it should not be affected by holidays!

    Partner points

Also both of you should have your assessed anzsco code in same OL (occupation list). Don't bother - if you already have 55 points if applying for 190 Visa 60 points if applying for 189 Visa Best of luck for IELTS!
  16. and I have heard there are two type of Oz pcc - you would need 'name check' - I don't know what it means though ;-p

    EOI and SS

your welcome.. best of luck with the process!
  18. If you have just received EOI invite - you need to first lodge visa application. Then you would get TRN and can go for meds. For PCC you can go anytime now. Just keep in mind that its better to have everything ready before CO is allocated. And also don't do pcc too much early as it might effect first entry date to Oz.

    EOI and SS

you should first submit EOI. Chose 190 in it, and chose state which you want to go to. When doing that EOI automatically adds in 5 points. Then you should apply for SS through State's site - generally they require your EOI number to be filled in their application (that's why eoi should come in earlier.) now when your SS is approved you would get an EOI invite automatically as its linked when you entered your EOI number. Hope it makes sense! Best of luck!
  20. Thanks. Any idea if Indians parents will be allowed for bridging visa if they apply pr while onshore on visitor visa?
  21. Best of luck ... ans in Bold above..
  22. Meds can be done before CO too.. it also makes process faster.
  23. Meds can be done before CO For timeline - check mi signature.. I would reply rest of it after sometime.. rather in hurry!
  24. I believe you can go down 190 (or 189) visa road while on temp visa, as you would have 1 year to complete it. That's quite enough! Other's invited to guide here..
