  1. Hi I bought this book new in May 2013, got the score I needed first time so its in very good condition. If anyone wants it just send me £3.00 for P&P and you are welcome to it. Please PM me Thanks
  2. Hello Has anyone had any particular good or bad experiences with the main Australian banks that my help me to decide which one to walk into once there. thanks
  3. I justed wanted to update my situation as it may help others searching this website regarding a police caution. We have had our visa's approved despite a police caution, it is a 457 visa. We didnt use an agent, we went with the honesty policy. After all the worry we've had I hope this will help others ...
  4. Hi All Can anyone reccommend a travel insurance company that I can use for my 457 visa, I will be signing up with medicare once in Australia? many Thanks
  5. ha ha thanks rupert or should i say Dad! sorry for reacting this way to a stranger who questions my morals, no actually im not sorry at all. a forum is to find out information about a certain topic, im not here to be judged
  6. Do you think we're all trying to go to Australia to be charitable, to help the poor Australians with there terrible skills shortage? Its not a bloody natural diaster that Im trying to expoit, I want to live in a warm country where I can leave the house for more than a few months every year. Do you think if the Australian authorities know that they wont let me in? Even though I have a skill that they need, even though Ill pay tax to them for the next thirty years? Oh no sssssh please dont tell them
  7. Hi Everyone Is anyone able to clarify something for me about this visa please? If you submit an expression of interest for a 189 and 190 and receive an invitation to apply for a 190 first, but for a state you really dont want to live in, can you communicate this to them and request to change states? Skills select gives you the option of "any" or chosing one state in particular. There are a few states that I would love to live in but others not so much. If this did happen and I couldnt change states would I be able to decline the 190 and wait for an invitaion to apply for the 189? Thanks All
  8. Okay thanks. As we really don't know where we want to live the I guess we should apply for the 189 and be patient. Hopefully we'll be as fortunate as the reids!! TheReids, what's your skilled profession, if you don't mind me asking? I wonder if that affects how quickly you are invited to apply?
  9. Hi there How does it work with lodging two EOIs? For instance if you get an invitation to apply for a 190 first and start the application, then what happens when you are offered an application for a 189? At what point do you pay the fee? Sorry for all the questions but finally how do you get state sponsorship? Cheers
  10. I agree, my application has been with Ahpra since 23 jan! Are you going to take the general IELTS or academic for the 189?
  11. £25? I paid £220 for Ahrpa documents and now have to have them all notarised again for ANMAC, costly business! references and statements of service will be difficult to get for the last ten years. Do you if they actually want these from before being qualified? Good luck for your application, you're waiting for an invitation to apply?
  12. Excellent thanks, whats the stat declaration?
  13. Hello everyone I'm waiting for my IELTS result and will hopefully be able to get on with the ANMAC application. I know I need to arrange a NMC verification and will need a nursing transcript to be sent from my uni (very frustrating that ANMAC will forward it onto AHPRA but not visa versa!!). I also have a professional reference ready to send Can anyone shed light on what other documents ANMAC require of you after you apply? cheers
