  1. Dear Friends, I am seeking your valuable advice for submitting EOI for Australia Immigration. On the Education tab I found the followings- * Honours in Science, Business or Technology * Bachelor in Science, Business or Technology Basically, my education in title is Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and it was 4 years long full-time study in Bangladesh. I would like to know which option I should select? Is there any major difference? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi, Has anyone applied for a skills assessment with the ICAA (or another accounting body) with a non-accounting degree? I am happy that the skills assessment can still be positive based on my membership of a fully recognised accounting body. However, I am wondering if my non-accounting degree needs assessed to get points for my education qualifications? Given that a minimum of a bachelor degree is required to sit the chartered accountancy exams and this is the case in Australia as well, and the chartered accountancy exams meet core knowledge requirements to prove a bachelor degree level, does DIAC regard the accountancy exams as comparable to degree level and thus should qualify for 15 points? Any ideas? Or, do you think that I will need to apply to another assessment body to verify my non-accounting degree is comparable to an Australian bachelor degree? Any feedback or prior experience you may have had with this issue would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.
  3. good morning 189 visa holders!! quick question on what you have submitted to DIAC in relation to proving your degree is "at a comparable level to an Australian bachelors degree"? has any just been able to submit degree certificate and transcript without having their degree "assessed" by an institute in Australia? thanks!!
  4. Last month I received my successful CDR result. I've been recognized as 'Engineering Technologist' and my bachelor degree is comparable to 'AQF Associate Degree'. But here is ANZSCO's description of an 'Engineering Technologist': "This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a Bachelor degree or higher qualification." And here is DIAC's clause for receiving points for Educational Qualification: "You can receive 10 points for documents that prove you have an award or qualification recognized by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation". Can I receive that 10 points for educational qualification? I am concern that what EA has recognized is not what ANZSCO expect for an Engineering Technologist.
