Hi Mates, I hav launched visa yesterday to Australia PR subclass 189. but when i check online for progress of my application in the link : https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry/query/query.do?action=eVisa its saying temporarly unavailable from yesterday. I dont think technical maintainence would go for 2-3days long? Am i checking in wrong link? pls help.

Hey all, ACS Assesment was lodged on May 31st 2012.. I am looking for any threads where i can find my fellow mates.. who are in the same boat so that i can keep track of process and hope something good :-) Is there a thread with ACS Assesment loadged in May 2012 or Jun 2012? if so , please send me the link... I searched but no luck.. If there is no thread as such.. can you mates join here who launched ACS assesment for Analyst programmer so that we can share our timeline.. and get a feel ....

HI All, Its a silly question but want all your valuable advices as we are confused which way to go. We got Australia PR 176(relative sponsrd) and my passport have that PR lable and initial entry is Sep2012 we booked tkts to Melbourne on FEb 25th 2012...every thing done.. Now this validation comes into picture.. what does it mean? interms of my PR status? Do i have valid Australian PR now ? can i start making plans to leave my current job in Singapore? ( i am employement pass and if i resign my passgets cancelled). or do i need to make a trip of 2days to australia get PR validated and then make final move ? i dont want to make two trips to Aus..want to move striaght away... Resigning job in singapore without PR being validated.... am i making a crazy move.. ? Can i count on my Aus PR which is in my passport labled and which is not yet validated.. ? or if i resign will i be ending up in loosing the one in hand and the otherone on that other end(unvalidated Aus PR). please help advise.. Q2 : I have few savings here in signapore bank.. and can i move it Australia before i arrive? can i open bank account and move these?

hmm .. how about getting our own car. We are planning to move to Melbourne in Feb 2012. Problem is , neither me or my hubby have driving licence for 4 wheeler. Does anyone know what is the procedure ? i am really concern abt the transpotation once we reach there.

Hi All , PomsinOZ is really a great site where I got registered and now we have Grant letter J Thanks to PomsinOZ.. Now that we got Grant letter on 12 OCT ‘11, we are planning to move to Melbourne from Singapore. From few posts I came to know that a couple require AUD 20k in hand to land in Melbourne.. So with this amount, how many months we can stay .. Keeping in mind that we need to search jobs.. I am counting on worse situations.. I also have my Uncle in Australia who is citizen there whom I can count ... Can we plan our move together if we have just AUD20k in hand? At the moment , i feel making this decision itself is Critical of all .. :biglaugh: My Question in short is : “When can we make a decision of moving to Melbourne to land safely?” (a) Only if I have AUD 20k in hand ? (b) Only if I/my spouse have good job in Melbourne ? © Or both ? Any experienced answers please J

I am happy to know that there were posts covering the checklist for moving to melbourne.. Its really a helpful one.. But dint find any.. canany one chat me the post link please.. I am eagarly waiting for my next step .. We are going for the stamp in the passport next monday.. and from then its all on packing things and moving to Melbourne :-) My dream!!!

Ranjeet..Have patience :-) mine is same 176 family sponsd applied in Jul 2009. how ever re-assesment took long time.. so i can say that i am waiting for past 1yr.. But hopefully this time all applications are moving fast... so you need not wait long.. IELTS - i dnt think they will ask for re test.. All the best..! so what is your ACS skill and which priority it is ? mine is in SOL ( i think priority 4)

Wow.. Good to see that you are in Perth now.. once appln starts it will be very quick i feel.. :-) Only thing which matters is appln should start moving.. (allocation of CO.. ) i think..So have you submitted your PCC (police clr cert) and Medicals even before CO allocation ? i was planning to take PCC but looks like we need letter from embasy.. anyways.. lets see how it goes.. Hiya.. yes , my agent submitted ACS reassesment papers online on 20 Jun 2011. he also send mail with attached to gsm....@imm.gov.au as you mentioned ( he bcc'ed me ) ..if you say 6 weeks for 176 .. which means hopfully by end of this month i should hear something .. :jiggy: thanks for PLE info.. i will push my agent only to send this as i am not included as communication means...

I asked my agent (Lawyer) to fill PLE but not sure why he is not showing intrest in filling PLE.. he is rather asking me to wait for few more days for CO.. Is there any problem if we raise PLE w.r.t our application ? or.. can i ..myself raise PLE without waiting for my Agent to do so??

Need advise guys.. please help to put forward your thoughts..!!!! How will a CO gets allocated? For me - Application launch date Jul'2009 (176 family sponsered), I was asked to go for re-assesment of skills ACS and which completed on Jun 2011.luckyly this time in priority processing - 261313. Now i mailed gsm (sending blank mail to know what all visas are processing to gsm.processing@immi.gov.au) and mail says "Applicants who lodged a GSM application before the following dates have been contacted by a case officer: " Priority Group 4 Skilled – Sponsored (Migrant) subclass 176 VE 176 (e-lodged): 10 July 2010 VE 176 (paper): 10 July 2010 My application date is Jun 2009..but i dont have a CO ..I think by the time i got my ACS -reassesment results in jun 2011.. the applications CO allocation went to 10Jul 2010 .. does this mean that my application is overlooked .. or once they finish all then they will see Jul 2009 appln?? confused.. what could be the case? what do you think i should do now? My agent says.. wait for few months and they will contact us.. i feel we should ask them and explain them (them = DIAC ?)
