StevieF8
Baroness Thatcher died this morning following a stroke, her spokesman Lord Bell said. Lord Bell said: "It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning. blossom
Awwwww. That's sad. My mum would tell me very proudly when I was young that I was a thatcher baby.

Guest
BBC breaking news http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-22067155 I would think more will be reported as they get information in. Just about every UK news source will be reporting it.

starlight7
Couldn't stand her politics I'm afraid but she was a feisty bird.
northshorepom
A necessary evil. I don't use either word lightly. The UK in the late 70s needed major structural change and she did that. Just wish she hadn't been such a vindictive old cow about it.
Flathead
Maybe just now is not the time for too much debate....that will come I hated the woman but did not wish her dead
Geraldine
Irrespective of her politics I admired her tenacity in a male dominated environment. RIP

Red Rose
RIP Maggie. She had bigger balls than David Cameron will ever have.
Guest guest30085
The only good thing she did was to break the 'glass ceiling' for women in the UK, although its yet to be repeated and some counted her as a man anyway. Id better put 'IMO' before someone asks for a google link, daily mail article, message from God . . .
Obi Wan Kenobi
Love her or hate her have to admit she was the last leader of this country who seemed to actually give a sh-t about the country itself rather than be in it for the ego trip and have the balls to do what needed doing rather than just spout about it. RIP
Que Sera Sera
I disliked that wonan and her politics more than I can say. But I would not wish her dead or any bad will. But I'd like to bet she died in more luxury than my Nan & Grandad thanks to her Poll tax etc etc
Love Shoes
May she rest in peace ... She had something that lacks with todays politicians .... balls ..... she was a strong willed woman who did what had to be done, my Oh met her once and said she was tiny, very tiny which always surprised me ..... Guest51810
I wont comment on her as i dont know enough about her really, suppose i cant use my age as a excuse. I've just never been that interested in politics. I know quite a lot of people who absolutely hated her and are probably having a party tbh, i find it quite sad tbh because i just see her as a old women but like i say - i wasnt around when her policies were
Legal angel
GOOD Theres not a man, woman, child or dog on the street in Ireland that isn't glad she's gone - she treated us like scum - we aren't all IRA sympathisers but she didn't care, not one jot. I for one would like to do an irish jig on the grave of the witch.
