  1. Thanks ever so much for your help and advice - wasn't sure which it was classed as as I won't be leaving Australia after we get married
  2. Hi snifter - I just filled in the bits that are the same as the Pmv for which I already have the answers , fully intending to leave the rest like you say until they ask for it I've included details of my caution on the Pmv form although it reads as have you had any convictions which I'm not sure if a caution is a conviction? - the date of which is on the Cafcass report anyway , I'd rather be upfront with it I'm now trying to find the section for health declarations I'm assuming they want to know about that or is it all declared at the health check place? ?
  3. Hi impala, have you chosen a company or have you already shipped your dog? This is on my list of things I need to start organising any heads up much appreciated ?
  4. I grabbed it printed it off started filling it in , did you tick you were applying for a permenant visa? Plus I have a caution from 12 years ago but it only says convictions I think I'll pop the caution on anyway just to be on the safe side, but blimey I can't remember exam details n jobs etc from birth till now ? That's going to take some doing lol xx
  5. Thanks snifter will have to look into that court order thing - my copy says I have to do it within a reasonable time frame when I'm there? Don't know if that's going to make a difference to proceedings? Form 888 is for stat decs form 80 is for something else I assume - I need to start writing all this down again x
  6. Thanks very much nava24 all input much appreciated, it's great to get other people's experiences xx
  7. Very good ideas tho snifter - I keep forgetting that there's different states ?? sometimes I really do worry myself ?? xx
  8. No no I have my court order already court have said I've to lodge in Australia for a mirror order when we relocate but I saw another person comment that they were held up because they have to lodge their mirror order before they go? So I'm hoping I don't have the same delay issues xx
  9. I've got the uk one sorted - it was court ordered because my ex wouldn't communicate with court or Cafcass or my solicitor- he fired his own solicitor after the first court date ? Then again he was the same when we got divorced, no idea how to submit it to an Australian court without being their to do it and qualify being in the country? Have you submitted it in oz? Xx
  10. That's what I figured , am now trying to figure out how to register the court order in Australia (mirror order for the kids to relocate , Skype contact with their dad etc) I saw on another thread it's what's holding their visa up ?Xx
  11. Hi I have to do this- I didn't know you had to do it before the grant though? If you have any tips on how I do this process as we are about to lodge shortly fingers crossed , hope yours gets sorted soon xx????
  12. I have all full birth certificates aswell as the shorter ones, can you tell me when it says do you have any other Identifying documents -tick yes or no , so I ticked yes as I had my birth certificate but then it asks for an I'd number off that , on the two copies I have both numbers are different ? Do I change that n tick no and just add a not I've enclosed scans of them?
  13. I have been sitting n reading all day it's been very therapeutic actually I feel a lot calmer after the great pointers and advice most things have started to make a lot more sense to me now I'm a little nervous about the nature of the household etc questions so I may have to re read my answers and tweak them xx
  14. Yes that's what I had assumed with agents n fees, it was just a random question that popped into my head ? There was a question about my sons passport number which obviously I don't have I don't even have an address for him ? Obviously he won't be coming with us but until you answer the questions you can't go onto the next page, roll on the kids going back to school so I can get some peace to concentrate on the computer I'm just keeping my fingers crossed our visa grant will Be along a similar time scale 6months ish as some of the others I've seen on here ?? X
  15. Thanks snifter am slowly trying to work through it , I think I need to slow a little then reread and take notes, I wouldn't expect an agent to work for free obviously, I just wondered if there was any different levels of payments like solicitors in a way I guess where free consult, pay hourly after, or on retainer? If you get my drift , but deffinatly going to just sit with a large coffee and read slowly through - my concern ATM is when they ask for family information which is limited on my mums side as I'm estranged from my sisters, mum step dad and eldest son, things like that I'm not sure how to proceed so yes your correct in the getting my head round it all x
  16. Hi there wayofthepony do feel free to pm any tips and advice much appreciated thanks ever so much , lots of good advice from various people is always a help xx
  17. Hi did you get them to lodge the application for you or just simply use them to ask questions? Which ones did you use if you don't mind me asking?
  18. Thanks ever so much for that I have to do mine and my children's so I'll look into that option - it just confused hell out of me being told I couldn't do it without the number ( I'm easily confused lol and thought you got the number when u paid and lodged your application?) I just thank god for forums like this and the friendly most helpful people , stops me going out of my tiny mind quite so much ? Xx
  19. There you thanks snifter I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called , just debating with future hubby if we should get an emigration solicitor or not , if we do do we use one in the uk or from Australia tho I have started to fill in the forms online they r blowing my mind ?
  20. How did u go about getting your Medicals ? The lady at the centre I spoke to said I have to wait until I have some sort of reference number or whatever it was? Dropping n running not a problem just means we would have to return n finalise everything over here if I can't get someone to do it for me
  21. Thanks for the input I just couldn't make my mind up which was the best way let alone how I would go about doing it , the lady said they could do it very quickly when it was requested ?
  22. Hi we are in the process of gathering all our info/ proof etc for our Pmv 300 i see a lot of people saying they front loaded their health checks & police checks, I know how to front load my police checks but am unsure how to do health checks? the lady at the doctors I spoke to when I called to find out the fees , if I needed to take medical notes for my fibro etc said I couldn't do it without a number? I'm not sure if front loading is best or not as timelines from others Pmv visas seem to vary - you can't find out how long the London embassy is taking to process only global not local times which is sooooooo frustrating , any experience or info much appreciated ?
  23. That doesn't seem quite as daunting as the Pmv , the time frame for the Pmv is what's concerning me a little, the gov site says global processing times but no local times, after reading that some people are getting their pmvs in around five months if that were to happen it doesn't leave lots of time to ship the house , dog and everything else on top ?
  24. Nemesis u r are legend I've read quite a few conflicting reports i.e. That it's based on the dates of medical reports etc which didn't make any sense to me . ive managed to confuse myself several times lol can we use existing paperwork from the Pmv or does it have to be all done again from scratch ?
  25. Ooooh I know the visa costs in comparison are huge and like you say the next part of the visa isn't cheap either! Is there a set timescale that you have to be in Australia for? Say visas granted 5th of December how many months do you get to enter Australia? Is it 9 months to marry after you enter oz or upon visa being granted?Xx
