  1. Hopefully you'll hear soon, you lodged a couple of days after me so fingers crossed for you ?? I very nearly deleted the emails as they were in my junk file or I wouldn't of known until I went into my immi account when I need to upload the docs I'm waiting for , could of left me a little short on time xx
  2. I wish you and your family all the best
  3. These things can be far more complicated sometimes than is readable my youngest was made to see her dad even though I never stopped either of them going and even though he is a danger to them and it was proven , which is why I said what I did because so often the person who has custody and wants to relocate whether it be Australia or uk seems to get jumped on for being the unreasonable one I do very much see both sides of the argument, courts do not make their decisions lightly even when dv and absent parents are involved everyone deserves happiness ?
  4. When you've experienced years of domestic violence physically, mentally and financially, including a danger to your children ( mine don't even see their father by their own choice) then yes all the stress of having to go through court etc is worth it- if a father or mother genuinely loved and wanted the best for their children tell me why any parent would put people they are suppose to love through hell? The move to aus wasn't taken lightly for me and it hinged on if my children wanting to go if they had said no that would of been it we would of gone for holidays only - but then if my ex had been a good man chances are we would still be together rather than him nearly killing me, you have a small snippet of these people's lives but judge harshly I'm all for keeping families 'together' but sometimes it's just not that black and white i do very much see your point though there are many people who do this for their own benefit
  5. If you want to pm me I can tell you what we did in court and had to show/prove etc be prepared for a hard slog but it's deffinatly worth it xx
  6. Hi , I've just had my medical - I have fibromyalgia aswell , am taking my two children ( both had medicals, height weight, urine test, touch your nose /toes my eldest 14yrs had X-ray very basic none invasive) I had bloods and eye test on top of all that aswell. results were submitted a few days after, had an email 3 days after results submitted asking for more info on my fibromyalgia / report from my rheumatologist- I don't have one, I phoned the hospital who were very helpful gave me 3 options but said to start with a letter from my Gp as I've only ever had treatment from her to see if that would surfice - I'm a fair bit nervous about all this im not saying this will be the case for you , just sharing what we are going through right now ? Xx
  7. We submitted on the 18th Dec got an email on the 8th Feb asking for more medical info- I have fibro, then email on the 9th asking for my partners Australian police check which we are still waiting for at least I now know we have a co!!
  8. I would imagine it's been a help in proving your relationship like u say Ldr u don't get to do things like a regular relationship so harder to prove I'm just keeping everything crossed the verdict goes in our favour , it's hard when u don't know what's going off even if it's not looking promising- I'm such a worrier lol xx
  9. Bugger I wish I'd of known , I won't get the chance to do that now obviously , useful piece of information to have , which is why these forums are so great x
  10. We have 3 Australian statements ( waiting on the 3rd ?) and two from uk no independent one tho as we didn't get the opportunity for anything like that , but can see how beneficial that could be though , I heard about the registering the relationship but weren't sure what the rules on that were as we've never lived together ? Xx
  11. That's similar to what I've included along with pics, ( court docs for the kids) our bank statements don't show joint activity though we have joint bank accounts but have shown that my oh paid for the wedding , visas and I've paid for the rings , dresses etc will be paying for the shipping etc I don't know what else to include , I'm still dithering with the form 80 ?Xx
  12. I totally understand what you mean , in so many ways it would be much easier ( cost, rental accommodation, stress, etc) if she were to stay with my dad who lives on a narrowboat and would have her like a shot - he keeps saying she's going to be a boat dog lol but my kids are up in arms and it breaks me to think of leaving her even tho I know she would be so well looked after and would be company for my dad from a purely financial point of view it would free up a hell of a lot of money and make it easier to find somewhere to rent until we find somewhere to buy- emotionally it's heart breaking to think like that ? Xx
  13. Hardest decision eh and two of them!! Gosh the cost of that would be astronomical ? Totally understand, it may be that my hound still may end up staying here with my dad but we will see how it goes ?? Xx
  14. It's a great forum , has been a real help and saved lots of time in certain areas, we couldn't leave the hound- whilst she is costing more than anything else barring the visas, it would break me and the kids , my dad would happily have her and they would live a life of Riley on his narrowboat , which if everything else fails will be where she will have to stay but am trying my best to take her with us even if it means us getting those horrendous 30 hour flights for £350 and u get your seat on the wing ? ?? , its great you've got a fantastic friend and you'll get pics and updates ? Xx
  15. Ah thanks spangle1 , it's always good to hear real times these global times are not much help, i know just what you mean about not being able to plan anything it makes things very difficult especially given the tight timescale they give u! The only thing I've started is the dogs vaccinations but I darent book anything else I don't want jinx things either, do keep us up to date on your moving progress ???? Xx
  16. Oh that's brilliant congratulations- I'm going to be a nervous wreck by the time this is all over keeping my fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later have you got a date to move? Xx
  17. Ah it will be great very beautiful, we r off to the Gold Coast hopefully we are waiting to get a co but we've only filed a month ago - just me being impatient lol xx
  18. Just go for it ?? If they want any extra info I'm sure they will ask for it , good luck with it all , the waiting is the hardest part for me x
  19. Hi I have just put in for my Pmv after a year of going to court for permission to relocate with my children, it was a very long, stressful and at times heartbreaking and frustrating time first of I would say - how do your children feel about moving over there? Have they been for a visit? Im not saying it's impossible but because you have 50/50 custody it will require a watertight case to present to court and your ex
  20. Hi I declared my caution even tho it was ten years ago and I'd never been in trouble before or since , I just thought it best to be honest ( tho I never went to court or anything like that, and it never occurred to me to declare it when applying for my holiday visas as until I started all the court proceedings for my children I'd forgotten about it, but it did show up on that but on my police certificate it simply shows 'no live trace', I have just explained the situation in the areas needed) maybe yours will show the same as mine with it being such a long time ago ?
  21. That's great will check that when the time comes, he's going to check the chip is readable on their devices aswell , or will be a new chip which is sortable- boos work is more stressful than all the other stuff!! Is there a rule of thumb that she has to be shipped in a wooden crate or can she travel in one I buy so she can get used to going in it? If she's allowed to travel in one from home as it were will that one be usable for her domestic flight or would a new one be required? How would I find out what size etc I would need? Thanks again rachel ?
  22. It's to start rabies work , then her boosters are due two weeks later
