It wont be a big deal if its only the Child Care Subsidy you get. If there is an over payment they will just ask you to pay it back. Just amend your Estimated family income and activity hours for this year so it wont happen again. With the Childcare Subsidy they do withold 5% of what your entitled to anyway just incase of overpayment.

The citizenship test is harder to fail than to pass. As long as you read the book that is provided you will have no problems.

Is anyone else concerned about the Australian economy?

And I am sure that no one twisted their arms to sign up for that amount of debt! Maybe these young people would be better starting small and working their way up instead of having to have to get a house bigger and better than their mates so they can show off! -
That is the whole point of the temporary skilled visa! They can get the skills when required. You know that when you accept the visa.

Medical check for someone with thyroid issue
AJ replied to username303's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Dementia is on a whole other level to an underactive thyroid! Yes I said it was controlled with medication. Thyroid Medication is cheap as chips here so I really dont think there is going to be any huge cost to the government due to your partners condition. -
Medical check for someone with thyroid issue
AJ replied to username303's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Shouldnt cause a problem. I have had mine removed and on thyroxine for years, did not cause any problems with my medical. -
Why shouldnt they chose a local Australian if they can do the job, how do you know that they only have 75% of your skills? Maybe the skills required here are different from the EU. If the locals are desperate for the "shitkicker jobs" as you put it, its is only right that they get them first.

You are supposed to register as an non resident landlord, and declare the rental income here. We have done this for several years and now have to pay the tax in advance every quarter. Doesnt matter if you never made a profit, the rent is classed as income, you can offset agents fees, mortgage interest, maintenance costs etc

now that wouldnt be a link to your company would it?

457 visa that comes under godfathering arrangements
AJ replied to Anup1122's topic in Repealed and Closed Visas
Maybe your employer only applied for a two year visa for you. They dont have to do 4 years, thats the maximum, check with them. -
If your on a temp visa there are no subsidies so would cost roughly $100 -$120 if not more, per day per child. Depending on when your 4 year olds birthday is she may qualify for Kindy at the local school, usually 2 days one week, and 3 alternate weeks, this is only school hours though so you would need after school care as well which is about $40-45 for before and for after school.
