mygirlies
As the title says..... If you could live anywhere in Australia (if money, jobs, house etc were not an issue)... where would that be??
northernbird
I'd stay in Perth but I would have a cottage down south as a getaway.

MARYROSE02
I never had any intention of living in Sydney when I was making my plans to come to OZ. My original idea, for some reason, was to go to Townsville, (still never been there), but eventually I settled on Perth, which I loved from the moment I stepped off the ship at Freemantle. I would still be in Perth but I couldn't get a job. I'd like to live in a small town, with all the facilities that you could need. Where would that be though? I liked Batemans Bay, Merimbula, Port Macquarie, maybe Broken Hill, St George in Queensland, but Sydney is the sort of place you say you hate, but you don't ever want to leave. Parley
I like Melbourne, but haven't lived anywhere else in Australia. Maybe somewhere near Bondi Beach or Gold Coast would be nice, but I suspect I'd get sick of the crowds.

calNgary
Id stay around here as easy access to Brisbane and Gold Coast and has everything we need. If i won the lottery id probably buy a little holiday home further North to spend these cold winter months, lol Cal x
Quoll
If I had to live anywhere then it would be Canberra - not too big, not too small, close enough the bush, beach and snow and with 4 seasons. However a house I've had my eye on for about 6 years is up for sale again in Orbost - I could do that if I could afford it.

jack13
Melbourne of course. But cairns was pretty fun. Maybe If I was old and wanted to settle down Byron bay would be a good place.
rammygirl
Wherever it was I would go for two propeties. One a penthouse in the city to walk to restaurants, theatres etc. the other would be either front line beach or wine country. Or maybe that would be three houses! maidensarah
Having spent a few months in both Sydney and Brisbane I would happily try out living in both, but also fancy Byron Bay, somewhere on the Sunshine Coast or Port Douglas

Pumpkin
I think I would be in Queensland, the Whitsundays or really anywhere with good access to the GBR. We like Palm Cove and have often talked about buying a little place there.
Lucharmily
I think I'd buy a (luxury) motorhome, travel round at my leisure and see everything this great and versatile country has to offer. Then I'd come back to this forum and post my answer!
