That made me laough "Wonder where Pablo is" after all that stuff he said and going on and on about people leaving this thread after they got there visa granted lol

WoW one week of work to go then perth's beaches it is...

How long is every one moving into a holiday apartment for, do you think that one week would be enough or is that pushing it Or are any of you going stright into a rented accommodation...

I think 1 week may be pushing it a bit as it is quite tough to get a rental at the moment. But you may be lucky! We didn't want to take a chance so booked in for 2 1/2 months - a long time, I know, but we want to make sure we check out all the neighbourhoods, schools etc before looking for a house.

Hi everyone, realise I haven't posted on here for ages since we got our visas back in June. Being a full-time mum is certainly busier than being a Manager ;-) Just wanted to say massive congratulations to everyone who's heading to Oz this year. Don't know about everyone else but it's taken us about 2 1/2 years from when we started the process to that all important email. My husband had to re-do his skills assessment to ACS a couple of times until they were happy with his qualifications and experience. But the main thing is we're off......flights are booked for 10th December.

We're going to Melbourne but heading to Harrington in NSW first for about 6 weeks to stay with family for Xmas and have a holiday.

Not sure if anyone else is as seems you're all going to Perth???? But anyone going to Melbourne, let me know.

hello and congrats to all u lucky peeps who have their grants :)

I was wondering if anyone could help? Ours meds were referred, and we are suspecting they might be looked into further. If they investigate further ie contact a dr or our specialist, will thay advise us first?

Thanks in advance, and good luck to u all

I have told my agent several times to call DIAC & HOC, but they tell me always that no need to call. They will process generally.

Now i have decided that i will call HOC. But whenever i am calling HOC (+61 2 8666 5777), it goes directly to voice mail and an automatic voice tells that we are unable to currently process your call. Please leave a meesage. I have called them at around 2:15PM Sydney time. What should i do now. Can anybody help me regarding this.

is it still the meds that are holding you back if so why dont you try and give then a ring and ask how its going, that seemed to work for a lot of people on the other thread...

It will happen soon for you guy,and it will be worth the wait...

Sorry my friends. I was very busy since back to site (mine San Cristobal: http://www.minerasancristobal.com) and these last 3 days have been plenty of work. Still, I am here to support all the last ones and of course checking everything I can about Perth and WA during my freetime. Quite a nice place to live but still no idea on how to find a good and affordable place to live. My wife and I decided to depart to Australia around february 2013.

You must understand that coming from a development country as Bolivia, everything looks pricey in Australia, specially Perth. So, what are your toughts about this new coming life. Tell me sh3p69 when are you going to Oz?

I will be here on PIO, be sure about that, it helped a lot to know all you guys and will help in this coming path of making the dream true.

Best to all of you!!

HELLO there Pablo, you return, It does get Busy after the visa gets granted doesn't it, looking at flights, accommodation, places to live, renting the house out and so on...

Well we are looking at around the 20Th of November, we would love to live up at Quinns Rock but most of the jobs that available for me are south so maybe we will have to try and go more central.

I know what you mean about the house prices but what you have to remember is that your earning the Ozzy dollar, i remember when we first looked at the prices and when i found that it was $500 per week not month i nearly fainted.lol

Well glad to see that you have not left us...

When are you looking at going...

Have a good trip Shelly!! It must be very strange. The bad part: those tears, but everyone of us will have that experience when departing from our home countries. However, let's see the good things awaiting us in Australia, it's gonna be our new bright wonderful life!! Best luck for those new arrivals in Australia! That destiny will join us in our new called country.

Hi guys,

Hope you remember me!! I had previously applied for a 475 visa in May and was granted. After the new rules came in, I applied for the new 190 visa (previous 176) from the state of WA and just today received my grant. Its nice to see people already making the move and I intend to move in/around Nov-first week. Wish the best of luck to all of us on this exciting journey ahead.
