  3. What is everyones experience of length of time once container arrives. Were in Perth and have just been advised 2-3 weeks following arrival for the customs clearance. Has anyone been any quicker???
  4. Hi May Gang, Another little update for you. Been here a week tomorrow, and all it's done is rain. Warm but rainy, bring coats and brollies, but it doesn't last long until the sun comes out to play. Still cool in the evening so jumpers/cardigans still needed inside these big houses. However at the w/end its changing to 28-31, plus it's a bank holiday on Monday. Perth's Royal show on from this w/end for 10days, so definatly worth a look. Had 2 rental viewing today, 1st ok, 2nd was a tip. and wanting $530 a week. So still looking. Hope evryones plans are going good and the few that are coming out soon good luck. Catch you down under!!
  5. Bumped thread, as re worded and more detail added. Shelly
  6. Perth Property Hi to all on PIO,. We had secured a furnished rental property from the UK between 1/10/12- 12/11/12, (6 weeks). We now don't require this property, as have a long term rental now, so if anyone is still looking please contact me and I will give you the property managers details. Property is in Perth, new suburb called Alkimos approx 5 min drive from Butler/Brighton/Jindalee. Close to beautiful Northern beaches, and approx 10-15mins drive to Joondalup train station. Property is new build 4 beds/2 bath and garage built in robes. Has A/C. Unfortunately no pool. rent is $700 a week. Hope this helps someone. Shelly
  7. Hi to all May gang, just a little update. We are in transit now, left U.K yesterday now in Dubai til tomorrow, god it's hot about 39-42 degrees. Lovely flight with emirates, remember it's 30kgs standard no extra for permanent visa, 7kgs for hand luggage. Awful leaving my family lots of tears from them and my 11 yr old, although the water park has sorted that now. Can't wait to get to Oz, we filled in a competition card today and asked for were we lived felt very strangemwriting Australia. Wahoo be there soon, update in few days. Good luck to allmthose still waiting and the few ready to leave next week x
  8. Congratulations enjoy your celebrations
  9. Absolutely fantastic!!!! What a huge relief after such a long wait!! Congratulations, enjoy your celebrations:biggrin:
  10. At last, fantastic news, you deserve a few drinks to celebrate this week end. Congrats:biggrin:
  11. Congratulations, I'm sure you partied hard at the weekend!!
  12. I'm sure everyone is supporting the ones still waiting, it is awful I know. However, the reason it may be a bit quieter is that the ones that are ready to go, are mad busy packing, organising and the such. Our furniture left on tuesday, so all go now, plus I am staying at my parents with no internet:mad:. But we are all here willing that these meds get finalised and visa granted. Fingers crossed for all still waiting.
  13. Thats good at least you know they are doing something with your application. Maybe another email in a few days to ask about when you should go for your meds, might be in order. Good luck
  14. Hi when you were assigned CO, did he not ask you to go ahead and meds/pcc done, thats what normally happens unless they require extra info from you. I would be emailing your CO asap as this is a long old wait of not going further with the application. Good luck
  15. Congratulations fantastic news, especially as its still the weekend. Enjoy.
