  1. Hi Has anyone got a good link or an example of a good Aussie style Resume - I have trawled lots of sites and there are so many variations. I have heard employers are particular in having an "Aussie Style Resume" over a "typical British one" so can anyone shed some light on what a Aussie one looks like? Thanks x
  2. I am shocked! That is horrendous!! I am actually lost for words for once.... Also to the OP I completely agree JV should never have been released the first time let alone again it is a disgrace!
  3. Is that true? that is horrific, I was deeply saddened and affected by that horrific tragedy, it still brings me to tears now.....to know that the current system would have prevented this makes me feel so sick.....oh those poor parents! That doc was amazing they are such wonderfully strong people!

    EOI and IETLS

Yes CowlingAFC you only need 60 points and you do not need to take the IELTS if you do not need extra points as they class a native british person with british passport as an equivalent to the score of 6 (0 points offered) - I hope you haven't wasted too much money and at least now you won't need to resist it if you have 60 points without the IELTS pass.
  5. Hello Everyone I hope you are all well. I just want to work out things properly and I know the pay structure for WA etc and I am sure it is practically the same for most of Australia but I was wondering if anyone would care to share how much they actually earn? (PM if you prefer). The thing is, shift allowances etc are good and we all get paid for them, so I just wanted to know with an average shift allowance or average shifts (mix of nights, days, weekends etc) what do you take home per month? Thanks soooo much in advance to anyone who is able to help me. Jen

I am hoping to like my new glasses to give my eyes a break but have considered laser....would only go somewhere like Harley though and its about £10k so would eat out of the OZ fund a lot....hope you find some glasses that suit you - take your best friend or partner they're normally better than anyone at helping xx

  19. Hi All  Just wondered if people that have had police checks could tell me what is involved? How long does it take? Is it basically a CRB including the time frame or is it a lot quicker than that? Does it cost - if so how much? Also How long do the medicals take and where do you have them done? How much does it cost? Do children need medicals also? What timescale can you have police checks and meds done? Can it all be done in advance of EOI or is it something that has to be done upon invitation to apply? Many thanks Jen
