    Hi guys, Can anyone please tell me if I get a job in Oz and the gross salary is between AUD 43K to 53K, what percentage of it gets deducted, so I can have an idea of how much it will be my Net income. At the moment my job here in the UK after tax, national insurance etc it works out 20% off my gross salary :smile:

    Thanks blossom, I did try the main ones like realestate, domain etc but no luck there. Maybe the best option is to look for accommodation once we get there. :biggrin:

    We had 2 english friends to do a declaration, then they went to a solicitor with their passport to as proof of their ID, it cost £10 for them to sign the declaration in front of the solicitors. Next we did a joint declaration and we both signed, we didnt need to go to a solicitors as we were doing all paperwork through an agent Regards M

    My birth certificate is also from Brazil and I have given my British passport as proof of ID and it was accepted. Which visa are you applying for? If you need any info sen me a pm Good Luck
