We have 60 pts but on border au it states 489 visa apps with 70pts are being invited to apply, what does this mean for us?

Hi, With the quarentine station being in Melbourne now, we will be in cairns, how much is it to get them shipped to cairns? Or would be possible to fly pick them up and fly back myself?

Applied to qld for my 489 visa on Wednesday 8/11/17 and got accepted today 13/11/17 quick turn around, let's hope the visa is as quick [emoji16]

The way I understand it is, you submit your eoi, the state look at them regardless of the points it's more about the occupation on a 489, if they want you they then say they will sponsor you and then you apply for the visa, assuming you at that stage, if not you first apply to show you meet the minimum requirements and if you do you get invited to apply for the eoi.

What if he refuses to give anymore than his letter?

I've been informed I need to get him to fill out an f1229 form and get a certified copy of his passport but I'm 100% sure he won't give a certified copy of his passport.

Hi, I need some advice, I have a step child, dad been out of the pic from age 6mths, we have a letter from his solicitor say he's happy for us to take her now she's nearly an adult, but apparently a solicitors letter saying he happy for her to go isn't sufficient??? Not sure what is?

I believe Victoria is the only state that doesn't ask for financial proof.

But I can only go by what the school's I've spoken to have said and what the internet says
