Dawood Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Finally some news folks:jiggy: I had an email from my case officer and they have requested medicals and updated police checks. :jiggy: Hopefully on the home stretch for this visa now. I still have the matter of my son's autism to deal with at medical but I am feeling quite positive about it. I have all the reports collated so hopefully they will not be referred for too long. Hopefully they will stand up under further scrutiny Millie x The last nail in the coffin ... u will get this through soon ... security checks for HR countries like mine take 9-12 months ... after that med and pcc call and a month for visa grant ... that might cheer u up ... still unexpected delays like your can be bit frustrating .... I got my visa grant today, after excruciating 16 months of security checks ... My timeline: Visa lodged: 19-12-2011 CO Assigned: 10-01-2012 Med referred (Front Loaded): 14-12-2012 Med Finalised: 07-04-2013 Visa Granted: 06-06-2013 I am here to thank all of you guys especially Millie, Justine and Ash for all the initial help that you guys provided .... remember me in your prayers ... However, the anticipation with no definite timeline was the most punishing experience of my life ... It was like an extreme test of faith ... I do not have words to explain the emotions that I have right now and during the waiting period ... It was difficult but now its over ...
