Borrona Downs in NSW reset it at 35.6 and then Noona NSW reached 35.9 minimum.

Toots
Bush fires in the south and the Midlands of Tasmania remain a threat. 400 people have had to leave their homes due to a fire near Geeveston south west of Hobart. Smoke from the fires has been spotted as far away as New Zealand.

But Hughie aint taking any notice. Cheers, Bobj.
Quoll
Just saw an amazing video of a bloke near Townsville with a drive running through - his ute had gone, Sept under the house, shed has gone - looked like a right disaster. Hope none of you guys are being flooded out!

Gbye grey sky
Here in SE Qld we have had only a few mms of rain this month, well under 10% of the average. December was dry too and we haven’t seen a single storm or heavy rainfall event since last summer. All the grass is now brown which is highly unusual in the rainy season. It is miraculous that we have had so few bushfires. We continue to hope for some significant rain.
