cams326 Posted May 10, 2019 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Hi guys, Any Marketing Specialists here applying for 186 TRT? For those who were granted, may I ask what the size of your company is? I applied in Feb 2018 and got my nomination refused in Jan 2019 due to not meeting training benchmarks. I had to withdraw my visa application. Then, I re-applied the nomination again on the same month and now still waiting. In addition, my colleague, who also applied for the same visa a few months after I did (Oct 2018 - no training benchmarks needed), got nomination refused as well in Feb 2019. But the reason was because some of the company documents were not uploaded, which is also weird. We do not know if it was our MA's fault or the Immiaccount issue as our MA is confident that documents were uploaded. It is also a bit strange that Immi did not even request for the document and just went straight to refusing the nomination. We re-lodged the nomination and application again and now, both of us still waiting. Our visas expire in a few months and having 2 nominations refused, I am just wondering maybe company size also matters when applying? Our company has only 5 full time employees, that includes me and my colleague. In this case, we are thinking of other options to lodge another visa but not sure as well. Appreciate your thoughts. My company size is 10 people including myself - turnover is around $2.5 M Do you know what company documents were not uploaded or missing that Immi refused? These days Immi does not need to request any information for missing documents - it is up to the CO - but seems like they are getting very ruthless! (we had a 186 refusal back in April 2018 - but this was done with my boyfriends company. We then decided to go with 186 under my employer). The documents that were not uploaded were Market Research done prior to nomination. In fact, there were so much research done and it is just unfortunate that they were not uploaded. Our turnover is also good. It should not be a problem. We're just really worried as our visas expire soon and we were kind of hoping to get a positive outcome before our Bridging Visa activates. Any help would be greatly appriciated Hi Rik, I applied as a secondary applicant on my partner's 186 visa. We didn't submit any documents confirming my dependency on my partner. I have a full-time job and fully supporting myself. We don't even have a joint bank account. I provided a few documents proving our de facto relationship: photos, joint lease agreement, transfers between bank account to each other (eg, I'm paying for all of the bills, so I just sent our MA screenshots from my bank account showing that my partner did transfers), itineraries for travelling, etc. Hope this helps. Should have go month by month processing. 12 yrs spend to settle in Aus. Still.nothing in hand. Sometimes immigration rules and sometimes luck. Don't know when good time will come. I still can't believe it but its true god has been gracious and glorious towards me and my family and finally I can sleep peacefully now not worrying about loosing job or having to leave country... I will pray everyday that your PR's get granted soon as I know the waiting is worst than anything else in the world.. stay positive pray I would say that's what made me cross this river of fire. Don't indulge much on negative comments in this forum I did before as I vented so much seeing others getting approval so quickly and I felt sad which many of you are going through... After I have been waiting for 17+ months (whitout any contact from immi, even if I call, complain many many times), my boss has decided to close the business so my agent sent a form to notify the immi about the change in circumstances. The Next step will be withdraw the nomination and apply to get the money back (at least). In prevision of a disaster I applied for a 489 Regional the last february so I should listen some from them soon. I am also eligible now to apply for a 190, but not sure whether spend 10k again or not. Bit disappointed especially because he gave to me only 6 days notice before close the shop and also after all the sh*** I accepted in the last 3 years.
