Trisha saini
Hi Pomz! I have a question not sure if anyone having similar difficulty to understand. My partner is on depending visa from me and she has been going and back to Australia many times last 2 years. Do you guys think that, this makes delay to our application? We have been waiting for 27 months not even one word from immigration. My MA saying she is the second applicant so There is nothing to worry about. No that’s not a reason because we haven’t been overseas since we applied but we also didn’t get any thing as I applied may 2016

I'm from Pakistan & working in an Indian restaurant as a restaurant manager (ANZSCO 141111). My two years will be completing in next 4/5 months than i will eligible to apply 186 through TRT. AND By the end of this month I will also have three years relevant work experience (2 years from Australia and 1 year from Pakistan). I am thinking to apply 186 through DE in coming month. I already had 50 each in PTE. Now my employer and my MA suggested me it's better to be wait for five months and apply through TRT instead of apply through DE. My MA told me as per his past experience DE applications are taking more time than TRT and in TRT chances of success are higher than DE. And he told me DE application may be little complex because immigration may ask more questions regarding your overseas experience while TRT applications are very simple and you also don't need skills assessment through VETASSESS in TRT. Please suggest me what should i do now, either wait for five month and apply through TRT or apply now through DE? Hi, I think I am in same situation ..can you plz provide me you details

tocsa
Hi, I can make you only one suggestion concerning your visa application: you better choose your MA very carefully. I would not spare any money on contracting a specialist in business sponsored visas. The larger the company is the better because major immigration agencies handle many applications and have more up-to-date experience. Due to the recent stricter processing, applications have to be more carefully prepared. "Average" MA-s are not necessarily aware how to prepare a successful visa. For me it is too late to choose the right MA, but the wise man learns from others' mistakes.

Australia migration rules are based on Assessment Level (degree of safety) assigned to every immigrant nationality that goes from 1 to 4. A higher Assessment Level means lot of difficulties to get a visa. Nationality is therefore very important and basically changes visa conditions It’s been suggested that high risk countries are those whose citizens have an historic high rate of visa over-stay in Australia, whilst low risk countries are those countries whose citizens are good boys and girls and normally leave before their visas have expired. If your country falls into the high risk category then additional checks will be undertaken prior to your visa being approved and different service levels are applied by the department for the time to process your application. As at June 2017 the current low risk countries are: Andorra Austria Belgium Brunei Canada Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hong Kong Iceland Ireland Italy Japan Liechtenstein Luxembourg Malta Malaysia Monaco Norway Portugal Republic of San Marino Singapore South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland Taiwan The Netherlands United Kingdom—British Citizen United Kingdom—British National (Overseas) United States Vatican City.

I guess Im waiting to see what happens with all of you guys and gals! Part of me really ways to see what the next member level is as well! How sad... My weekend started last Wednesday and didn't stop until 2am this morning! Heavy! I booked my partner and I into a fancy hotel in the city for next weekend and made reservations at Heston's new restaurant i've also booked some business class flights to Tokyo to go skiing in Feb, a weekend away to Tasmania and I'm looking at buying a new motorbike. Basically Ive been spending a sh1t load of cash because my life has been on hold for so long. Time to have it back. Hey Parkesy, It's super quiet without you here .... Your celebrations sounded amazing... how was Heston's? Have you been to The Fat Duck in London before? (MY MOUTH IS ACTUALLY WATERING) LOVE all of your holiday plans- i think this is what i'm looking forward to the most- freedom to go on holiday abroad without the panic of being refused whilst you are out of the country and ultimately being completely fucked! I recon our first stop will be Raja Ampat and surrounding islands for an island hopping diving trip ... just can't wait! Ironic that the first thing we do once being given PR is booked a flight somewhere else! haha... THE PRISON SENTENCE IS FINALLY UP- Hoping it comes this year for me... so bad!
