bobobz Posted June 24, 2018 Share Posted June 24, 2018 I guess its not right if you say immigration doesnt consider restaurant manager as a genuine need at all, cause there’s lots of people granted for the past two months for restaurant manager. it depends on case by case (where you work, what kind of restaurants, what kind of food you serve, etc). My personal view on this is to make sure the applicant have sufficient employment history which is to be consistant. Though immigration’s report is absessed with real fact. As a restaurant employee you can’t be a restaurant manager straight away without having vast experience. Why your boss will hire you as a restaurant manager if you don’t have previous supervising experience at all. You need to work at different stages in a restaurant to prove that you have been in this industry for many years. Literally, some people buy sponsor become restaurant manager without any sort of knowledge. And eventually come up with refusal. However, it applies to all sector not only in a restaurant we talking about but everywhere else. Remember immigration is NOT a stupid. Mate, we are talking about ENS 186 Visa not about SC457/482 Visa. When you apply for 457 you need relevant experience and qualification.
