What's wrong with that? It is England after all. The Muslims don't have to eat it if they don't want to . England's gone mad if do good ers are worried about that. -

In Victoria virtually every job had the exact same selection criteria so if u put the time in u will be able to reuse over and over. -
Fair enough but why dont they just put the salary in the advert.. makes it so much easier for everyone, you dont have to waste your time applying for a job that pays less than your current one.. they dont get loads of applications from people who wont be interested once they reveal the salary... I find it really odd when they dont advertise the salary

someone important , may have been the reserve bank put out a study just last week saying they expected it to be cheaper to rent than buy over the next 10 years. We are in same possition, 450 a week rent on a $650,000 (it sold 12mths ago) house. Mortgage is a lot more than that if you like us and have little/no deposit

Moving over in Sept to hopefully teach...any help appreciated
wolvesaussie replied to Joe2579's topic in Education
Yes it was around 70 but u guys were always saying many where not real jobs anyway as people in post. So she wasn't down hearted at an point in the search and it took less than 3 months to get a job. We know someone else we met on here who moved few weeks before us. He really helped with advice when we first moved over. He is happily employed also tho it did take him a bit longer. Telling people they will have to give up on being a teacher if moving to Australia is just over the top... -

Everyone is overly negative on teaching. It may not be easy to get a job but it's not impossible. My girlfriend is enjoying teaching here so far full time permanent job in a nice private school straight off the bat -

Hi, I am not sure... Italian used to be really popular in schools here in Melbourne as they taught us the lanaguage of the immigrants... I could choose between Italian, Greek and Macedonian... however I believe they are now into more asian langagues, not sure if that has meant less jobs for italian teachers -
Have u tried geelong. I have seen the same company advertise a data entry job for months. Maybe they struggle to fill. Look at geelong IT jobs on seek
