Sol2Oz
Hi Sol2oz Have you got everything sorted now? As in pcc and meds and any other requests. We've got our medicals tomorrow but the results will be loaded electronically. Hope you get grant soon I have everything done and all is marked as "met" in the system except for medicals. I already went to the doctor (at the CO's request) and my results were mailed (not uploaded as we don't have ehealth). It took a whole week for the results to be mailed to Sydney (I was able to use a tracking number the doctor's office gave me). But, they're not showing up in the system. I imagine a huge room filled with medicals from all over the world and the staff having to sort through all of them.

adsmich
Hi, it seems we have a co (19th) but they are requesting passport photo copy, wedding certificate, language test proof, tra proof and some other bits which we have done and were sent to our agent??, something strange is going on here, our agents are far from good so I don't think its been sent. Not good.

SHandGH
Hi Guys, Traditionally this thread has been run on a voluntary basis. I took over from BPremji after his visa was granted in February 2012 and he in turn took over from TaniaHolmes when her visa was granted in December 2011. For this thread to remain active can I ask that someone consider taking over from me now that my visa is granted? I am at a stage where I need to focus my energies elsewhere as I am sure some of you will appreciate. Running the thread is simple enough. Also two members could perhaps share the effort with one running the spreadsheet and one updating the first page. I must say that I found running the thread to be very rewarding and I would hate to see it end at this stage. So if you want to step up and give this thread the attention it deserves then please let us know or send me a PM. Regards, SHandGH:wink:

PatrickW
ugh, just checked my online status and my meds are still "outstanding" even though they've been received Monday am in Sydney (according to the carrier). It's now Wednesday in Sydney, wonder if my meds will be acknowledged :cry:Has your status changed from "received" to finalised or met yet, Patrick?? Hi Sol2Oz Sorry for the late reply - I've been in a meeting for the last 2 days solid. Two of the three of us are showing "Health requirements finalised" and "Further medical results received", and one is showing "Health requirements outstanding" and "Further medical results referred". It's been like this since Friday last week. I'm hoping the referred meds come back really soon. Still checking the website multiple times a day (as, I imagine, most of us in the waiting room are). If my numbers are indicative, you'll only see them as finalised on or about Friday (if your CO updates like mine does). Cheers
midwife2005
Police checks back this morning. I'm not a criminal.......yay!!!! Last hurdle jumped hopefully. Does that mean I'm now officially in the visa grant waiting room, well I will be when my agent uploads them hopefully tomorrow:biggrin:
Guest jaffas1
I just wanted to say a big thank you to SHandGH for keeping the thread going and a thank you to all the other contributors to this thread. I have followed this thread and its precursors, and it kept me sane during the long months waiting for our visa. We are off on 10th July to Melbourne, and counting down the weeks until we are there. I hope someone comes forward to keep the thread going.

From what i have read on the forums recently the time period has been short from receiving a case officer to everything been met and meds requested but mine has stayed unchanged since then? perfectmax
Just an update from us. We had the medicals done on the 12th May. As of the 21st May they all show as met apart from my Son's form that we took with us. Probably havent got round to it yet as all other things of his are met. Hopefully it will be showing soon. We have begun to make some decisions about what to do if we do get the visa and when we will go to Oz etc. In your experiences how long does it take from med's being finalised to a visa grant if successful? I thought maybe around a month looking at other peoples time lines. Good luck to everyone this week. Sian

Guest Jivesha
i been dreading this very message... lol. SHandGH has been a legend at doing this! Me too. What SHandGH was and is still doing is just awesome. SHandGH, Your pinks and purples really poured life into the discussions in the forum. A mere 'Thank you' would be a poor way to express my gratitude. Really appreciate what you have been doing. Before you bid goodbye, I would be delighted to be turned pink by you. I now have a CO. Please turn me pink at your convenient time. Thanks!
