  1. Hello Umair, Congrates that u have got I 60 points and I hope you would get invitation soon .i think it shouldn't take more than 2 months. As far as your wife's occupation is concerned if she is not the primary applicant it won't be a problem for you.if your occupation is still in the uncapped list then u will surely get invitation in a short time. best of luck with ur application dear..sorry I couldn't read the previous msgs..what is ur occupation??? Regards,
  2. salam dear..first of all congrates on ur grant..you r right that 4th week of January is good for u..but just keep in mind that there is no specific hiring season here..jobs can come up at any time..normally they start coming from 2nd or 3rd week of January after a pause of month because of Christmas and new year vacations..secondly if u have some saving then u can bring ur family in..it's better to bring them over with u..as u guys will be getting centrelink payments and if u have kids they would be fully sponsored by government for their studies..but in the end it's ur decision..one more thing...dnt waste much money on hotels etc..try to get a residence straight away..just surf on this website..realestate.com.au...ull get an idea of rents and other things in Perth..try to live in suburbs as they are a bit cheaper than city centre..if possible try to talk to some agents through this website about ur accomodation...
  3. Look umer ...whenever u apply for state sponsorship 190visa u would definitely have 55 points not 60 that's y u r choosing state sponsorship to get 5 extra points..if u want to go with state sponsorship then go for it ..if u have 55 points then u r eligible for state sponsorship..what is ur trade??you will have to check on each state's website for their requirement to get state sponsorship...if u further need any guidance just keep messaging on this forum and one of us would be there to sort it out for u..just keep in mind u should be clear that in which state u are going to reside for 2year.. Means which state is more good for u in job prospects..just tell me ur qualification..then I would b able to guide u more precisely..have a nice go..on the other hand have u checked ACS requirement for qualifications assessment of ur wife??
  4. Salam...y don't u apply for state sponsorship it would give u 5 more points to match ur 60 points??i think for computer science she needs verification by vettasses...and it required high marks in Ilya etc..just check on their website and ull have to apply for her skills assessment just like u did for urself..best Of luck for ur future
  5. Look yar if u dnt have Aussie experience u can't provide it to them.. But not all the employers ask fr Aussie experience...if they find u good they will hire u anyway..normally these recruitment agencies do this thing but that's when it comes that u should follow up ur application with them and tell them that you have been doing same work for 4 or 5 years..secondly Aussies go on reference a lot ..if u have anyone in field of ur profession then he could be of great help too...bit yaar keep in mind in the end it's up to u how u follow ur application up..ull apply for 100jobs and if u would follow them u would be short listed in atleast 30of them..so just keep trying...situation here is bad but no that bad...jobs are still coming up
  6. I did the same and did door knocking for a month..then again looked for jobs...finally Got a job of my own profession in end of March and shifted from Sydney...now some days back I got another job offer with double the pay and great benefits...now moving to karratha a place in Western Australia...I know many of my friends in Sydney who are still looking for job of their profession..some people start doing off jobs that I did and forget their profession...we should always keep on trying again and again...I know a friend e was here since august 2013...was not able to get a job for almost a year but he kept on applying and recently he got job as instrument engineer at Sydney rails..just never give up guys..we really feel Allah near to us than anywhere else..just have faith in Allah and keep trying...I think no one would be in bad condition than me as I had been left with only 200aud total savings when by the grave of Allah I god my engineering job in March...now I really believe that if u would have firm faith in Allah and on urself then I'm sure ull get good job anyway...one important trick by which I got my engineering jobs was that I kept on following my applications with recruiters again and again..normally we just apply and forget...we should follow it up till the end..call them again and again until u get something...dnt be afraid what they would think..I u know that the job perfectly matches ur cv then follow it up real strong if u want to succeed here my friends...
  7. Hey guys...I am posting in this forum almost after 7months...just to share some of my experience with my fellow members..I got my PR on 3rd December 2013 and moved to Sydney with my family on 22nd December...from 24th December to 7th January there was nothing to do in Sydney or else where it was all shut..so a bad time to go there at that period..had to stay in a hotel for 1.5 weeks..one should not expect to get a job straight away as the hiring process in Australia is really slow atleast the people whom I know from hr departments are very lazy..u should have something in it pocket as savings..if u r married I think it's a great idea to take ur family with u straight away and on the very first day find a centreline office, get urself registered there, apply for a family tax benefit claim straight away..before that go to any bank and get a bank account..apply for tax file number(tfn) as without ur tfn ull not get any payments from centrelink..tfn takes 14 working days to come..if u know someone here it would be good to get a rented place with his help Ada soon as possible coz centrelink will pay u 450aud fortnightly if u have ur wife and one kid and paying for ur rent..that is a good thing to get..of u have more kids the payment will increase..now after getting these things done search for jobs on seek.com.au....obviously u should apply in ur profession but it would take some time may be 6 months to a year to get a job of ur own field..keep on applying..but in the mean time to get things going apply for sales jobs on seek or invest some money if u have to get a security license..it takes normally 2 weeks...these jobs here are easy to find..in sales ull get mostly jobs of door knocking an will get paid nearly 500aud a week...
  8. dont waste ur money dear...we landed without any prob...just relax no one requires it
  9. Thanks farhan...Yar I have gota studio in sydney and its not that costly..fully furnished it is...I think better to start with...we would be landing on 22nd December... What else should I keep in mind????
  10. Dowe have topay for registration with centerlink or medicare card???or anyother cost for government registrations??
  11. Yeah this is right...just sit back all of us are praying for ur grant..inshallah u will get it before christmas...had u called their adelaide office??just give them a call ask them the status...It would be helpful in getting exact status..I called their office twice after I completed our medicals and believe me they were more than helpful dear..it would take approx 20mins before ull get someone to talk to u...u should call them through skype as It was 30mins call everytime and total i spent were 02 dollars through skype...
