They send one generic delay mail after the other but there's no real movement for anyone. A grant here a refusal there but most of the guys and girls are still waiting since Nov 4th ... pretty disappointing. What are your plans now? Life should be a lot easier with PR (job- and mindwise).

lol..yes moving to our new house in May...its almost done!!! what a relief!!!

how long do you think "acs review email" will take to get bumped up to cat 3?

I have no idea but I'm definitely going to call them by the end of next week.

Here's my schedule

01/04/2011 - Submit Re-assessment, Medicals, Police checks (SK & AU), Form 80, Form 1221 to DIAC (DONE)

08/04/2011 - ring DIAC to confirm they've received the new Skills Assessment (waiting)

15/04/2011 - waiting for an email to say you are in Priority Group 3 (waiting)

22/04/2011 - ring DIAC again to confirm I'm in Priority Group 3 (waiting)

20/05/2011 - ring DIAC after 4 - 6 weeks to get a Case Officer (waiting)

As it's been 12+ weeks I'd start calling them every few days. The secretary is nice to talk to!

I've come across some Chinese forum thread and someone said he had to go to ACS by himself to get his result. The guy said ACS put ALL the result letters into one box until the box was FILLED and then mailed out the result letters to everyone whose name was in the box. Thus some people may have to wait as long as two weeks for the result letter to be mailed out!:arghh::arghh::arghh:

I am surprised this is how things are done in a developed country!:goofy:

What do you mean one box? It's probably an out tray, so they make fewer trips to the post office. We use a similar system at work but its emptied every day.

From 1 day to 1 month. Most people get the confirmation in 7 - 10 days.

I'll wait 1 week and then call them. I see some people got their confirmation letter 2 months after submitting the re-assessment.

I can't wait 2 months, I'm already mental from all this uncertainty!

Hi Every One

Good New Coming For Priority 3 & Priority 4 Too.

Some People Who Got Email from DIAC , Now Soon More Will Get, Even Priority 4.

Further emails are expected to be sent to other Priority Group 3 and 4 applicants in

coming months to advise of other applications nearing allocation to a case officer, and

with updates on GSM application processing.
