Guest Manj
They send one generic delay mail after the other but there's no real movement for anyone. A grant here a refusal there but most of the guys and girls are still waiting since Nov 4th ... pretty disappointing. What are your plans now? Life should be a lot easier with PR (job- and mindwise). lol..yes moving to our new house in May...its almost done!!! what a relief!!!

I've come across some Chinese forum thread and someone said he had to go to ACS by himself to get his result. The guy said ACS put ALL the result letters into one box until the box was FILLED and then mailed out the result letters to everyone whose name was in the box. Thus some people may have to wait as long as two weeks for the result letter to be mailed out!:arghh::arghh::arghh: I am surprised this is how things are done in a developed country!:goofy:

It's probably an out tray, so they make fewer trips to the post office. We use a similar system at work but its emptied every day.

From 1 day to 1 month. Most people get the confirmation in 7 - 10 days. I'll wait 1 week and then call them. I see some people got their confirmation letter 2 months after submitting the re-assessment. I can't wait 2 months, I'm already mental from all this uncertainty!
