Hi All

New to this forum, below is my timeline.

It's been a while I have submitted additional documents, haven't heard anything back from the department.
Lat update on the application was 1 December.
Any ideas what can be the reason?

Hi,

I am working as a software engineer, and have three years of post-qualification experience and my employer is willing to sponsor me for 186 direct entry.

My question is, is the 60k plus super salary enough as a software engineer to satisfy the Australian Market Salary rate?

@ohmoomtang I'm not sure if the rules have changed around this due to COVID, however, ~2 years ago, we were told that we had to physically go into a Centerlink to get this changed.

- It was a real quick process and I think we were out of there in ±20-25min (for 4 of us) - we also ALL had to be present.

Just left Centrelink and they said that my new card already dispatched yesterday so I don’t need to do anything. My interim card is invalid so they let me choose to surrender or keep it. New card will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Thanks

Hi members

I was a silent reader just decided to sign up to share our journey.

Restaurant manager WA

186 applied 5 October 2019

we did medical ourselves in January 2020

first response from Immigration March 2020(s56, some proof from accountant, proof from business owner applicant need further 2years)

Still waiting

I can tell you guys, it’s kill us mentally. I saw many of applications lodged end of 2020 and already PR

How long we have to wait?

We pay tax, rent house, spend money

I don’t need financial support from Australia

I am really disappointed and hopeless

You are not alone. Applications nominating hospitality occupations have essentially stalled with very few being processed at the moment.

I have similar situation!

It’s killing me and my husband as well!

7 years in Australia, doing everything as we were supposed to do, paid everything, is so frustrating.

we are so close to finally have some peace but still so far with unknown future!
I’m hoping they will get back to us again in March.

Most of PMSOL cases are done within a month so a bit worried.

Same here !

Restaurant manager applied  Visa applied 27.January 2019.Nomination already approved.Almost a year now.

Unfortunately I do think that they won’t go ahead with hospitality Applications until life is back to normal. We probably have to wait another 6-12months.

Visa : 186 DE

Nomination and  Visa Applied - 7 Feb 2020

Onshore : Yes (I apply for my offshore spouse as well)

No. of applicants : 2

Role : Accountant (General)

Request for more information: 15 March 2020

The visa hasn’t been granted and I’m based in Sydney. Are there anyone who applied around the same time with same occupation?

Would you think the reason it is not granted is because my spouse is offshore?

Thanks!

I just heard from my agent that immigration has requested confirmation from my employer of roel availability for coming 2 years. The nomination was approved over 2 years ago so makes sense they need this.

Our agent advised this usually is indicative of a decision when confirmation is received. Has anyone had this request and how long before you received a decision?

Dept asked for position availability ltr back in Jun 2020 and submitted by employer.

Though Lawyer told, this is usually the last requirement before being granted but still waiting.  However, You be onshore, case may be different.
