Posted December 10, 2020 Share Posted December 10, 2020 Hi all, We’ve been asked to provide an updated overseas police clearance because when the case officer viewed our application, it had just surpassed a year. Instead of me going through the process of reapplying for the clearance - can we submit a statutory declaration confirming that we have not been back to the respective country in question - or, do I go through the tedious process of reapplying? I’m one of the regular visitor in this blog. Recently my 187 nomination refusal is under AAT. However, I already have positive skill assessment from vetassess as a Retail Manager. And I’m working in a newsagency for 4 years (Retail Manager). My question is in future if my case is fail or business sold by the time, can I move to Tasmania and apply for 491 visa catagory number 5, Small Business Owner? Do I have to be under Tasmania Skill Occupation list? As my occupation belong to Retail Manager. And it’s not in Tasmanian or federal government skill list unless 494. I have applied in Feb 2020 Received a request of Information in August and since then the status says Initial Assessment. When contacted the immigration they just answered that they are prioritising the professions on the priority list. I got my grant yesterday. finally i got my PR after 9 months of approval nomination. stay positive guys, everyone gets their PR soon. but i strongly recommended to push your MA to follow up with immigration regarding your application. me and my other 3 friends got very next day their Grant after sent email to Immigration. so dont loose your hope and happy times come for everyone. i will pray for everyone. good luck.
