  1. Actually, as per discussion with my lawyer, DHA is considering many factors. Besides from salary, there are other things like nature of business, genuine of position, cash flow, BAS statement, ratio - number of Australian(Citizen/PR) compare to non-Australian(temporary visa holder), nationality of applicant (I just guess, but this can be as well, I think they try to diverse the community as you might know that the majority of individual skilled visa (189/190) are taken by only certain nationalities) In conclusion, I just want to say that lower salary doesn’t mean nomination will be refused. The job is to make DHA satisfy with the paperworks and nomination application. Also, I don’t think it is possible to just tell your boss to increase salary for the nomination to be approved ?? They control all financial stuff, don’t they ?? If salary is not reasonable, DHA might suspect that you are buying a PR as well ?? From my research around here, most refusal reason is unstable financial status like DHA don’t trust that the business will be able to pay that salary in next 2 years. I haven’t seen any case of salary too low before (but I’m sure there were before) My case, as my opinion, I think it is very weak (low salary - I cannot tell but it is very low - you might not believe that my nomination is approved if I told you my number - I still think that CO might pressed the wrong button, simple programmer task without complexity or specialise in the field, small company, etc.) but my nomination was approved in 3 days. It depends on your agent experiences as well. I suggest that just let your company submit it and wait. If it is refused, there are some options like submit nomination again or appeal with AAT.
  2. Just left Centrelink and they said that my new card already dispatched yesterday so I don’t need to do anything. My interim card is invalid so they let me choose to surrender or keep it. New card will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Thanks
  3. Just wanna ask your guys about Medicare card if you guys have any clue on this? I have a physical blue "Interim" card since I applied for a PR. At this time, I got my PR and I checked my Medicare online account. The digital card changes from Interim card to Green one and valid till 2026. Will the new physical "green" Medicare card post to my home? Or do I need to walk-in to Centrelink to change from "blue" to "green"? Thanks very much.
  4. Yes, I applied through a registered migration agent. They choose one for me, just only a small firm one. I have one in my mind (that I want) as well but they did not allow me to choose so I needed to process with their chosen one.
  5. Happy New Year, I got my PR this morning Nomination: 30 Nov 20 Approval: 3 Dec 20 PR Submitted: 3 Dec 20 Medical: 4 Dec 20 Medical Cleared: 7 Dec 20 Grant: 5 Jan 21
  6. That means it isn’t available. You just need to keep looking between locations and then book it. If you didn’t book yet, I recommended to book as earliest as you can. Then, just use Modify booking button to monitor is there any earlier time for you. For NSW (Sydney), maybe try to see Parramatta as many people look into CBD Clarence Street.
  7. Can I ask you something? Did your application status changed directly from "Received" to "Finalised"? Or it came through "Initial Assessment" and "Further Assessment"
  8. I hope to get it before Christmas as this will be the best Christmas present ever in my life. Anyway, what I can do is just wait for it. Thanks very much.
  9. I'm just wondering when does a grant email normally deliver? Is there any particular time like 11.00 am or early morning, etc ?? I know it takes time but I'm just very excited and login to ImmiAccount twice a day - morning and afternoon. Thanks.
  10. Hi, I'm a silent reader for this forum and I have plenty of experience of your guy for a PR here. Thanks, everyone. Following is my timeline 186 DE PMSOL - 261312 Developer Programmer - Onshore, NSW, Non-Accredited Sponsor (Haven't sponsored anyone before) Nomination: 30 Nov 20 6:00pm AEDT Approval: 3 Dec 20 8:00am AEDT PR Submitted: 3 Dec 20 11:30pm AEDT Medical: 4 Dec 20 2:30pm AEDT Medical Cleared: 7 Dec 20 Afternoon AEDT Grant: Waiting It was quite lucky that I kept refreshing Bupa Medical page so I could book the earliest one day later after submitted PR application. However, I needed to travel to Parramatta. Anyway, totally understand that it is quite challenging for them during COVID time to allocate timeslots for applicants. Will update your guy soon at the time I get a golden email.
  11. https://www.australiavisa.com/immigration-news/skilled-employment-points-deeming-date/ https://www.iscah.com/important-change-work-experience-points/ https://www.mymigration.com.au/2020/01/07/update-claiming-points-for-work-experience/ It seems like DHA does not deduct experience for skill assessment if an applicant obtained a degree that relevant and meet the requirement of certain ANZSCO definition. I just wondering is there any formal legislation or act? When does it in effect? And can I update my EOI in order to obtain extra skilled point right now? I have 261312 (Developer Programmer), got a positive outcome from ACS which deducted my 4 years overseas experience to 2 years + 1 year Australian experience. Thanks very much.
  12. Hi there, I'm currently working (IT Professional) with the 485 Temporary Visa. At first, my boss told me that they are not able to help me sponsor any kind of visa. However, I'm negotiating about the possibility to negotiate them for sponsoring me 186 ENS Direct Entry. As the number of 189/190 invitation will be less next year. As well, I think I might not able to make more English to obtain points but will try it for sure. I don't think about taking CCL or Professional Year too. Let's see I am able to secure a job here without PY. I'm just wondering about requirement and fees for both applicants and nomination (Briefly, will ask for immigration lawyer soon if they agree to sponsor). Applicant Age under 45 (I'm 30) Has 3 years relevant experiences (4 years overseas which ACS will deduct 2 years = 2 years + 1 year Aus experience soon on Nov 19 = 3 years) Eligible Occupation (My occupation in MLTSSL) Competent English (IELTS Overall 6.5 - L7.5 R7 W,S 6) Employee Position relates to business (Local software company, mainly run by IT stuff) Ongoing position for 2 years (My contract is permanent) Salary equal to or more than AMSR Fees (for nomination) 540 AUD for DHA 3000 AUD for Skill Australia funds levy (Annual turnover less than 10 million AUD) Am I understand correctly (in briefly) about sponsoring ?? And how about Market Labour Testing? Actually, I don't need to do as I'm from countries where Australia has trade agreement but just wondering do we need to demonstrate anything about this? Thanks.
