Congratulations - been watching your case as its similar in terms of character assessment part and really pleased for you.

I couldn't disagree more. I'm in the long wait category I assume and I find it interesting being aware of the different trend times recently. Someone posted an article a few days ago explaining why recent applications are being responded to quickly. None of that means those people dont still need guidance and support. This forum should be for everyone shouldn't it?

    Makes sense now...thanks for posting

Although I'm happy for those people being processed super fast - I'm equally frustrated (and I know I'm not even a worst case of waiting either) Is there genuinely a pattern of higher priority job types being worked more urgently....or is this an attempt to lower overall timeframe statistics by working newly received applications quickly? Cynical I know but I've seen this sort of stats fudging before elsewhere.

I think this might be out of date - is it from 2017? A review on these occupations have been carried out a number of times since then havent they?

So since I provided further information in mid April I've heard nothing but on my immi account it shows as last updated 16th May 19. Anyone else had anything like this?

I know how this feels. We're in the exact same position. Declared a caution on our 457. Our MA sent our 186 application stupidly without the caution detail. So they requested a SAR. Theres other things on there but none are cautions...we called the UK to get these details. But we took the bull by the horns and provided a statement with everything along with strong character references followed by the SAR when it arrived. We hoped those would show utter transparency. Just waiting now.

Really similar to mine. A lot of info already provided when applying in may 2019 was re requested in march 2019. Nomination approved in match 2019 and still waiting on a decision

    Skillselect ENS 186 Timeline

Hi all, just after some idea of current timeframes and any patterns being noticed in terms of outcome after further docs provided. Occupation: Management Consultant Visa type: 186 DE onshore - currently on Short term 457 Country risk: Main Applicant - UK with UK partner Number of Applicants: 2 Nomination and visa application submitted: 20 May 2018 Nomination Approved: 20 March 2019 Further Docs requested: May 20, 2019 - Form 80, AU police checks and a statement from my partner due to an old caution. Also wanted to see more work experience evidence despite successful skills assessment. provided by deadline of 20th April 19 Immi Status: Still showing as Received despite communication requesting further information. And despite MA notifying of nomination approved I guess the thing I'm confused by is the status still showing as Received despite the nomination approved and further info request. My MA agent advised we'd probably hear back following submission of docs very quickly. No news yet however on my immi account it shows most recent update is 16th May 2019. But no change anywhere or anything in the messages. Seems odd. If it was rejected for any reason would you still receive some sort of formal notification on the account?

    ACRO Subject Access Request

Hi David We applied for our 186 in May 2018. We had the request for further info later March. Our nomination has been granted so it's just this final piece. Still haven't heard back but the deadline for further docs was end of April. Our MA believes this will not be an issue for our Visa as there is no intention to not be transparent and there's nothing of major concern. We made sure we provided a signed statement ahead of the SAR coming back to show even further how honest we are being. We also provided a load of character statements for my partner from various senior colleagues and friends in positions of authority. We hope this should be enough. I guess it's up in the air and down to them now. Hope you hear soon.

    ACRO Subject Access Request

Hi, we’re currently in the country on a short term 457. As soon as we arrived we applied for a 186 Employer Sponsored Visa via Direct Entry. We have an immigration agent paid for by my employer. My partner had a caution from 7 yrs ago which we declared on the application. It was a minor offence. He received his ACRO cert as no live trace. They’ve now asked for a witness signed statement providing details of the caution. They’ve also asked for a subject access request. To prepare us and ensure there’s no surprises we contacted ACRO for all details on his file. So everything that would appear on the subject access request. Theres a couple of things that have thrown us and now we’re both feeling like there’s no hope. One thing is a reprimand from 20 yrs ago. He basically took his dads car with no permission. As it wasn’t a caution we didn’t log it as a conviction. The second is a false accusation of a threat to kill (makes my other half sound awful but actually this was a huge misunderstanding with someone he tried to help out that went bad and he falsely accused my partner out of spite) long story short it ended up with NFA and no cautions. This shows in his SAR which looks awful. Has anyone had anything like this that they’ve overcome and how? TIA
