My nomination was approved in March and still waiting. Responsed to S56 in April and my partner had to provide more character docs so little more complex than average

We submitted our S56 in april and are still waiting an outcome. I dont think there is a set or 'normal' timeframe to have your expectations weighted on. It's just a case of waiting.

In on 98 days since supplying the info from a S56! Don't think this part is even in the slightest bit predictable so no chance of reasonable averages etc. Just a case of strap yourselves in and being patient. Hard as it is...

This is not black and white! The main key aspect is you could lose your Visa if you too this employment with sole purpose of gaining a Visa. If immigration can prove in any way that this is the case, they can revert your approval. If you're circumstances in your role, with your employer have changed then Toure not bound in that role for 2 years following Visa grant. This is what I've been advised by my MA

My migration agent has never mentioned the risk of an expired grant. Mine was granted in March so that a tyally means from what you've said it expires in September. Which is not that dat off as our Visa is under scrutiny due to a mistake made by the migration agent. I wonder if they prioritise tehurcwork flow based in nominations expiring

Sorry I dotn quite understand. Has your application been refused because of failing a character assessment? Had your partner declared previous charges on the application?

Sorry to hear that. Do they explain why he didn't pass? Ours is under review for my partners character assessment. We declared an old caution on our 457 but our MA completed out 186 application and didn't transfer the caution info. So looks like we didn't declare it second time round. So obviously very nervous about this too.

Congratulations - been watching your case as its similar in terms of character assessment part and really pleased for you.

I couldn't disagree more. I'm in the long wait category I assume and I find it interesting being aware of the different trend times recently. Someone posted an article a few days ago explaining why recent applications are being responded to quickly. None of that means those people dont still need guidance and support. This forum should be for everyone shouldn't it?

    Makes sense now...thanks for posting

Although I'm happy for those people being processed super fast - I'm equally frustrated (and I know I'm not even a worst case of waiting either) Is there genuinely a pattern of higher priority job types being worked more urgently....or is this an attempt to lower overall timeframe statistics by working newly received applications quickly? Cynical I know but I've seen this sort of stats fudging before elsewhere.

I think this might be out of date - is it from 2017? A review on these occupations have been carried out a number of times since then havent they?
