visas sometimes arent overnight things. if you dont have a clean police record this will 100% slow things down for you... time frames is a frustrating guessing game
-
health insurances rarely cover pre existing conditions..

i never said they should make it easy but the process is far too drawn out for guys who have been in the trade for numerous years. as for undercutting just to get work thats nothing new is it ?

maybe if the government made it easier for uk electricians to transfer licenses without costing thousands on top of visa costs and taking upto a year they might find some of those 9303 electricians they "need"

all depends on when your invited. depending on how many points you have will determine your invitation timeframes.

the airline will not let you fly without a visa so you will have to wait

speaking is first so the trick is to get logged in and begin before anyone else or you will get alot of nattering as you begin to concentrate which isnt ideal. Dont over think it or stress if you cant keep up i messed up 1 or 2 and i still scored 90 for speaking

whats your occupation tony ? its pretty tough out there even if your experienced in that industry. although its picked up in the last few months. when you say long roster how long ? 4/1 ?. many companies no longer do these huge rosters due to the stress it causes on marriages and mental health etc but construction roles still seem to be 4/1. as for sponsorship from overseas its a massive longshot and id say you've no chance unless it was an overseas transfer or extremely specialised. have you looked at any skilled visas or eligibility for one
