Hi would anyone be able to offer any information as regards to securing Work rights by means of either a sponsored visa, or applying for one as an individual to gain working rights... i appreciate the visa process has changed, but I’m forever being told by companies and friends in Australia that my skill set is in demand, I have attended, passed and been selected by 2 Australian companies in the past 2 years to come and work on a fifo long roster only for these roles not to go ahead due to visa changes or not getting client approval, this has not put me off and has just made me more determined to find work and eventually relocate

Hi regardless of the recent visa changes, is it still possible to gain sponsorship from companies, seeking experienced workers that are a struggle to find in Australia, or, is it possible to apply/obtain on an individual basis, in order to gain “working rights” enabling someone to apply and secure work, preferably on a fifo, long roster....from an overseas location

Hi im seeking some information as regards to securing Work either via company sponsorship, which I appreciate is, or can be very difficult since the visa process changes, and the fact I’ve had 2 interviews with Australian companies over in the uk these past2 years, and although I have passed and been selected these roles have not materialised due to visa changes and not getting client approval basically I have 28 years experience within the uk Marie/Industrial and oil & Gas sectors, as a blaster/sprayer/painter including 10 years at various supervisory levels, I’m constantly being informed there are a lack of skilled Blasters/sprayers/Painters in Australia but an abundance of Work, initially I’d like to secure Work on a fifo long roster and return home to the uk on my leave period, but in the long term myself,partner and children would like to relocate any help/information would be gratefully appreciated

Hi i realise that Australia has made recent changes to their 457 procedures, and that the emphasis is on recruiting from within Australia or N.Z although I appreciate sponsorship jobs are a rarity at this present time iam still keen to secure work within the on/offshore, O & G, Marine, or Industrial sectors, as a blaster/sprayer/painter.....iniatially seeking a fifo role on a long roster, 8/2, any tips/help would be greatly appreciated
