  1. My son and his family live in caloundra (moffat beach), it ticks all the boxes you want, we move over in december (fingers crossed). we have been 5 times in the last 10 years for 6 weeks at a time and it is a gorgeous place to live.
  2. Drink plenty of water beforehand, I had a very small trace of blood in my urine test and so did my wife, we both sat there drinking about 8 cups of water, tested again and my wife’s was clear, mine was still showing a slight trace of blood. I was told to go to my doctors who referred me to a kidney specialist, only problem was the waiting list was 3 months, so I went private, £2,000 later I was given the all clear. Very worrying because you start thinking what it could be. It was an early appointment so didn’t really drink much, the nurse did say it is common but does normally flush through with water. Good luck.
  3. People that have already been granted visas are ok.

  11. Nice one, we booked with emirates 28th December, £1850 for the 2 of us, that’s add ons with twin seats and extra leg room for both flights. Happy with the price.
  12. Can a 491 visa holder travel at the moment as it’s not a temporary visa it’s classed as with provisions, I think the answer is no, but just double checking.
  13. Hi all our 143 visa was granted on 28th January 2020, our arrive by date is 28th January 2021. As it stands are we 100% going to be accepted into Australia as until we arrive we are not classed as a residents , so we are worried that we could be turned away, or are we classed as residents the moment our visas were granted. mark
  14. Can someone clarify that when entering Australia (143 visa holder) and have to self isolate for 2 weeks, who foots the bill, I’m sure I read on here that we have to pay the bill (2,500dollars), but when I google it says the Australian government foots the bill.
