  1. No points are given for skill assessment, but you're using it to calculate number of skilled employment years. In your case I suppose you had 5-7 years on top of the 6 years deducted by ACS as "hands-on qualification". Update: now I have noticed the table from your post. You get the 10 points for equivalention of your diploma. You did that with other body (e.g. VETASSESS), isn't it?
  2. You can claim points only for years after you're qualified according with ACS criteria. In your case only for 4 years. Your application will be rejected if total number of points are less than DIBP counting.
  3. Problem solved! You are using the USD vs GBP exchange rate in reverse
  4. 17000 words only for KAK? Without the two projects? Wow... that's a lot of work.
  5. Same here. Assessment with RPL is quite tricky. Anyone wants to share advises? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  6. If second applicant is from a non-English country, he/she must pass IELTS (min 6 on each exam) to avoid paying a ~4300 fee. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  7. I see no reason not to be allowed. Assessment is done based on your past experience. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  8. You will need it before the entire process is finished, provided that you don't request points and it's only about not paying the additional installment. It has nothing to do with SS.
  9. Nobody but ACS will be able to confirm you 100% that your references are a match or not with occupation from SOL. However, is common sense to have more than half of the points memtioned in the occipation description. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  10. I don't think it's a glitch, you just have to fill in only "skilled" experience. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  11. You need some hands-on experience to be considered 'skilled' by ACS. University diploma it' not enough. If you major was IT, ACS will deduct 2 years from you working period. Only the rest will be counted. If your had a minor in IT, they will deduct 4 years. In your case only 1 year is counted as 'skilled' experience. Check ACS site for more info and how many years are deducted depending on your type of University. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
