  1. I see requirements have changed since I did my RPL in 2014/2015. Back then ACS was deducting 8 years if the university was non-ICT. To answer your question: if immigration will find your university degree equivalent to an AU degree then you'll get 15 points. Same, if after you'll have enough years of experience closely related with the nominated position after the "deemed date" then you'll obtain 15 points. Btw... pay attention to the content of your references from your past jobs. Should be quite similar with the ACS job description, otherwise could be seen as irelevant. Same with the name of the role.
  2. To be considered "skilled" you need a university degree with minor or major in ICT. A one year diploma do not qualify, therefore the only option I see is RPL. That also means you'll lose 8 years of experience as "hands-on qualification" and only for what's on top of those you'll receive points.
  3. There are several parks near Ithaca: Gilbert, Woolcock, Jubilee and Bardon Lions. All with playgrounds and open areas. Wookcock also have BBQ, so it's quite popular especially during weekends, althought with the heat wave from last week it was a bit empty. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. My kids are going to Ithaca since September (it's holiday now) and school is great. Good teachers and really nice community around the school. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. I was only asked to pay bond (equivalent of 2 weeks rent) and 2 weeks rent in advance. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. Not the seller is adding extra tariffs, but the buyer to protect local economy. Therefore, Germany will not do such a thing. Nevertheless, without freedom of movement there is no EU. Hence for UK to sell in EU without extra tariffs (as EU is buyer in this case) will have to accept it. Conclusion is that tariffs are not at all a red hering if you'll understand how this works.
  7. I believe you're confused. Who said anything about not selling? EU is selling to Japan, US and Australia. None been part of the union. However, freedom of movement is a pillar of EU and none should expect flexibility on this matter. Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk
  8. They are allowed to send invitation for position not listed on the official list. Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk
  9. It is possible to have 2 distinct EOI. So, I'll go with option 1. With the second you'll not be considered by ACT. Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk
  10. Took them ~6 weeks in my case. But that was in March - April 2015, don't know their workload this days. Plus, duration depends also on occupation. Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk

  12. From legal point of view 189 is identical with 190. That means you're allowed to live/work anywhere in Australia, there is no limitation to the state that gave you nomination. As somebody else said above, there is a moral (again, not legal) obligation. Difficult to be 100% moral without a job. Nevertheless, I would suggest to contact SA emigration authority and explain you case. Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk
  13. There is also an "Attach documents" button on top of the ones referring to specific details. You can upload it there adding correct description.
  14. DIBP requests a different type of reference compared with ACS/VETASSESS. Max 5 responsibilities and should state your salary
