  1. Hi Andy, I have left Australia, but have balance in NGS Super. My PR will expire in few years from now. I am not sure if I will return to Australia. In view of this please guide how I can apply for withdrawal of my Super. I had called up NGS before leaving and they said I should contact them few months before the PR expires, and see how it goes. Can you please let me know if they transfer at that point or I still need to wait till I turn 60? Appreciate your steer. Regards, Nish89

  3. I have been told Indian curriculum is slightly advanced (Science and Math).
  4. Hi my daughter will be 16 yrs old when we relocate to Sydney in Dec 2015 (nov 99 born). Is there a chance that I can enrol her in grade 11 instead of grade 10. so far all the NSW academics have responded that as per July 2015 cut off she would be enrolled in Grade 10. She is already completing Grade 10 in India in an international school so she will reject the idea of repeating . Can any one suggest a way out please so that I can make this move more attractive for her
  5. thank you...I will look up local tourist office - hope there are some near stations ?

  7. Hi all, I am planning my validation trip in Apr and want to take in a bit of sight seeing. I could see there are discounted rates available online, for major attractions - but I need to book well in advance before I fly and will have to pick up forex and other bank charges. Is there an alternative - do we get discount coupons etc when we buy a rail card or at airport (Sydney) ? In UK I have received heavily discounted tickets/free fare for major London attractions when booking midlands rail ! Does something like this exist in Sydney? Cheers, Nish
  8. Hi Bear, I have booked Singaporeair for my first validation trip. Have not asked for xtra baggage allowance cos I will be moving permanently later on. From your post I presume we can use a validated Visa to request extra baggage allowance since I will need this most when I move permanently? Cheers Nish
  9. Hi Paddymacs, Thank you for your response They are pills in sugar/alcohol base I guess. Do I need a detailed letter/prescription from the doctor too listing contents ? I will try to request this does not go through x-ray. Cheers, Nish
  10. Hi Friends I am planning to make my first entry to Oz soon. I will be transiting via Singapore. Since my and my child are on homeopathic medicines, please advice what evidence or approvals we need to carry? Since homeopathic meds do not have printed label mentioining ingredients do I need my doctor to endorse it on his prescription? Any advice highly appreciated. Cheers Nish

  12. Hi I have been asked by CO to get 1229 signed though the court document points custody to me. However I am not sure if my ex will co operate though I am trying to get his signature. can some one tell me what are the alternatives ? My ex does not have any explicit visiting rights mentioned. All that is mentioned in court document is some monthly maintenance he owes our child - which he has defaulted since the beginning. He has not visited our child since 2008. In view of above can I declared the non co-operation and non interest and take my PR forward? I have applied for 189 - 65 points and my child is added as migrating dependent any views and pointers will help pls ! I have invested a lot of money , sweat and blood in this PR and dont want this to fail just cos my ex does not sign the 1229. thanks Nish89
