  1. Hi..I am thinking about applying for 190 visa and im reading myself round in circles...I dont need work experience for extra points or for my anmac skills assesment but do I need it for the visa itself?...I do have experience but not 3 years..I've read you dont but on queensland goverment website (the state i want to sponsor me) it says 3 years work experience needed so im confused. Can someone clarify for me please? If I need 3 years then I'll need to apply for 189 n suck up the ielts again and get the extra 0.5 I needed in speaking my visa should be straight forward enough but im getting stressed the more I read n go on different websites lol thanks
  2. If you really want to stay you may have to find different jobs to what your used to? and perhaps accept pay cut?.live in cheaper area?..but then you might not enjoy aus so much and prefer to return to uk anyway..cant be a nice situation..hope he finds something soon
  3. Could you move to another area of Australia?
  4. I dont know the correct answer but if I was you and it def said it needs to be original I would send it now to save having to do it later n having to wait longer
  5. You may just have to be patient then..might still b good news..
  6. No thats not true about your gf needing 2yrs experience...but best to have 3months wrk experience for application
  7. Yeah it doesnt sound good..I would b worried too..but has the employer provide the additional info requested now?

  9. We got a place in a week and organised private viewings too as didnt really want to go open house..easy enough to rent and didnt find we were discriminated agsinst for not being Australian..just b organised like ppl have said n u should have no problem...we were worried too before we came but turns out there was no need to worry..good luck
  10. As far as ive bn told..your visa activates when your enter oz n so 3moths starts from then..but sum1 mite correct me on that! Wouldnt make sense to do it any other way really
  11. Sounds like u really want to go...I would hate to be in ur situation. ..but looks like many ppl make the decision to go n if you feel its the right thing then you need to do it...what would b the worst thing about staying? And what would you regret more? Maybe your mum got used to the fact that you would probably always b on the otherside of the world so is fine wth it. .mite b diferent if you were just springing it on her now n she'll hav your holidays to look forward to...I think I'd still stay though...what does your husband feel?
  12. If in a few years you are in your mums position..what would you advise your kids?
  13. Thats horrible for u...next time she does sumthin like that ask her why..like why are you rolling your eyes..why are you ignoring me..or why are you being so rude. .b assertive and wait for her answer..tell her its Unprofessional, unnecessary and you dont appreciate it..be polite but firm...shes doing it coz your letting her get away wth it...if you approach her about it she may get a shock and move on to bully sum1 else...dont let her ruin your work enjoyment..she sounds awful
  14. In that circumstance we wouldnt leave my mum..shes dun too much for us to walk away when she was widowed n needed us..she would never tell us that though...although my mum n dad were very close and married since they were 16 so it would b a big loss for her and not having us or grand kids around would hurt further and be another loss..we always say when/if that happens we would go back..no second thoughts..I was very privileged to have a fantastic mum and not everyone does so would like to repay that one day...problem is my mum would make out she was fine and didnt need us but honest answer we would stay..but very personal decision..no right or wrong
  15. Thanks..thats a long time just to transfer
  16. i would like to know this too so hope someone answers i have been offered a job with new employer and they are happy to take over sponsorship, i was told by them that they have done it before and should be very straightforward and quick, however they weren't sure how long exactly, they estimated 2 to 4 weeks. I definitely don't want to be waiting months!! They said they have started process today...

And footwear...too cold inside for no socks n little shoes..too hot outside for socks or boots..ive got a long walk home too so taking off a cardi isnt enough..just nd go get used to it I guess
  19. I hate how im freeezing in wrk though as they blast the aircon day n night..I need clothes for walking to wrk in or even going near a Window n seperate clothes for working in..then have to try not venture outside while im at wrk, even on my lunch break coz I'd have to change my clothes again! 21. Yeah course ive wrked wth demotivated nurses n I hate it! I would def leave if I ever felt like they did..maybe in another 10 years I will
  22. Like i say..just how i interpreted it..Ive not lost morale yet and if I did I would find another job rather than watch patient care suffer
