Hi guys. Just received our SA SS and invitation so will be lodging this weekend. Almost 8 months since I sat my IELTS. And just before Sept price increase. Now for the next step up the ladder.

Hi guys. I have finally received my SA SS approval and invitation to apply from skills select at 06:30 this morning uk time. That took 6 weeks. So now bank holiday weekend preparing visa application. Onwards to the next step lol

I submitted SS for SA on 16/07/13 and still waiting. So this is week 6. :-(

I applied for ss with SA on the 16/07/13 and still waiting. Now into 5th week. Their web site says they are currently processing 11 July applications. So I hoping to hear this week fingers crossed. Ill post when I get invite.

Hi. I wrote my references including all relevant topics and sent to my previous employers and all they did was copy and paste on their company letter head and sign. So no work for them so I got them back quite quickly.

Hi guys. I finally got my VETASSESS back on Monday. 12weeks wait and I have my positive result. Woo Hoo. Unfortunately on July 1st CSOL changes my job has been made not available for ss WA. So now I'm heading for SA. EOI has been submitted as is SA sponsorship. So now the next stage of waiting lol.

Hi. I notice that building associate is no longer available for state sponsorship in WA. That's where I was heading but didn't get vetassess back in time to lodge EOI. Im now heading for SA and go from there. At the end of the day securing a job will be down to the individual and if contacts can be made once there. I've progressed from site engineer upto contracts manager and would happily get back behind an instrument to get my foot in the door. Construction work has been difficult since 2007 here in the uk so we are used to the difficulties in getting continuity of work cause ultimatly we work ourselves out of a job don't we lol. Ps my vetassess took exactly 12 weeks to complete.

Hi I've just received my positive Vetassess result in the post after 12 week wait. Phew. Already lodged EOI and SS. Now onto the next stages. Woo hoo

Lol me to. After 12 weeks mine now says Completed but no email from them yet. So I'm waiting for a letter from Aus. Then hopefully onto EOI at last.

Hi I sent my VETASSESS docs in April. I'm now in week 9 of waiting and was told by them at least 12 weeks so nearly there. I did IELTS in Feb and got 8 and above in all four. Wasn't too hard but I did loads of practice tests in the weeks before test. Heading for WA ss next June so have plenty of time to finish the process. I try not to check VETASSESS every day lol. Just get your papers to them and wait. Good luck

A bachelor diploma?? I've not heard of those m8 you either have a Bachelor Degree or a Diploma.
