Mine are already planning their trips over, I said we are not there yet - give us a chance LOL!!!! Flight over Heart Reef. We organised it whilst onboard Reef World. We caught a catamaran from Airlie Beach. I cannot remember it being too expensive. It is one of those things that you have to do. It was my first and last time in a helicopter, it was an amazing experience and worth every penny. When we returned to Oz with my parents a few years ago we went on a catamaran from P Douglas to one of the platforms on Agincourt Reef and my dad did his helicopter flight from there. Cost $148 for 10 minutes. It was with Quicksilver from Port Douglas, booked from the marina in Cairns. I am pretty sure that you can do a helicopter flight over the reef without going to one of the platforms.

Guest The Ropey HOFF
Personal things in life like relatives passing away are the worst, the best my kids being born and me filming the second ceasarian birth of my beautiful daughter. Best memories related to Australia, swimming in the open air pools in Brisbane, and boogie board surfing at surfers paradise and meeting up with Kevin, John Doe and his family, what a top bloke. Swimming in the sea at Cottesloe and Scarbrough beach in Perth and going up to kings park and seeing the views of the swan river and city, incredible. Also meeting Al aka sh7 tman and his lovely wife. The worst personal experience which was when I was arrested for going out and confronting some teenage thugs who had been bullying and beating my kids up for months and the police arrested me, left me in the cells to sweat, finger printed me and took my DNA like the cons I look after, they grilled me at interview and sent the file to the CPS and 3 months later it was dropped, I thought I can't even protect my kids. Love Shoes
Best experience so far ..... landing in Brisbane yesterday very early in the morning, and then the brilliant domestic flight to the Town that I now call ´home´. That feels really, really strange :wubclub: and then sampling some of this almost as soon as I had landed. I have a feeling that I will need to look for the diet version of this drink, otherwise I will need to see the dentist :Randy-git: Second best experience, my OH took me hat shopping and bought me on of these silly hat´s, actually the hat isn´t silly it is me that looks silly in the hat :biglaugh: Worst experience so far ....... eating my OH´s cooking last night :biglaugh:
