We are just about to sit down and go through all the links our agent has sent us, I still cannot believe it I'm soooooooo excited hehe I bet you are, I still cant believe that we have a CO so god knows what I will feel when we get our visa!! I am actually quite relaxed about the whole thing I think its because after waiting so long or maybe it really hasn't sunk in yet, when do you plan to go and where. I know the 3 year wait has been tough, I was quite worried after doing our meds they might go and change the processing again like they did in march 2009. Think we are planning to head for Sydney in jan but will go were the work is really. Our agent sent us a link for a job site you can go on when you visa is granted, it's only for migrants with visas to help you get work I don't know how it works yet as you need to wait 21 days after you get your grant to register with them but I think it could be really usfull as they know you may not be able to start job immediately. I agree May & June look very busy especially June. Then it looks as if it could peter down. The processing times within these months will be determined which group you get allocated to. At the current rate they should be at May/June by December-11. Tania I know the house strain is a pain, we have decided to rent ours out,garys working around the clock doing any maintenance and repairs so we won't have to worry about it when we are in oz. Cannot wait to go now I only emailed an agency in oz last night about a job and recieved an email back today telling us they would be interested go figure hopfully all will work out fine. Guest DCAL Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 So Police checks sent off and medicals completed, just waiting on bloods to come back and for the Radiographer to sign off everything looks fine on the xrays which should happen tomorrow and bloods on Tuesday, though the women who took the xray said everything looked fine to her and I'm guessing she see's lots and lots of these weekly. We went to The Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead yesterday for our medicals and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience. The staff couldn't do enough for you. From the moment we got there everyone was polite and professional ans would heavily recommend this clinic. In and out in 1 hour and 45 minutes and £570 lighter, though I think we got of lightly when you think others have spent £1200+. We had a small issue in that the Nurse who uploaded the xrays and took the passport photos found all of us on the e-health system but went we went into have the medicals the doctor couldn't find our youngest daughter and started to fill out the paper version for her until we challenged it, saying that the Nurse had found her on the system and so they then had another look and the doctor refreshed her page on the computer and she then found all of us.
