I'm December 2008 applicant - Marketing Specialist - hoping to head to the Mornington Peninsula, sponsored by my sister. To say it's been a very long wait is the understatement of the century. To be honest, I received the letter most CAT 5's received and it said to keep a look out on the immi website to see how things were progressing, so that I may get ready to have medicals and police checks done. People now getting CO's in a random order, makes doing this impossible! Let's get our Crystal Balls out yet again.... I'm sure we will all be processed, but it seems a tad unfair for people like me to be pushed down the pile yet again! I sometimes wonder what I've done to deserve this ill treatment?! Ah well, wait and see again, again.Hi hon,To be honest with you, ive done expecting for 2 years since i lodged my visa already. i promised to myself this year that im no longer expecting any from it anymore. I check my email every morning coz of my client since we are in diffirent timezone, i didnt expect i could receive an email from a co.I felt happy coz finally theres development on my visa.shocked coz i didnt expect this. we even have to apply pmv next month or next next... and how come a co?And sad coz i suddenly thought about people ahead of me from the timelines that i always update since 2years ago?I so reckon they process per occupations quota? But still now i cant believe it coz i havent heard any offshore from cat 5 ever allocated to a co earlier than me or later.... Im so tempted to ask my co why im so shocked, since shes so kind to answer my inquiries.Dont worry, ill submit my papers asap so she will finish my application fast to spend her time next to any of you waaaaaabe positive guys please. Ah well, wait and see again, again. We should wait for next update of on 30th April to see any announcement of cat5 offshore processing. Not that far i believe. Moreover we have a week to see any other offshore movement. We are nearer to start processing (by DIAC) at the moment therefore we need to be positive, I believe ... Hope for a better week ahead! Are you asking me to beleive that DIAC has skipped 2006,2007,2008 and half 2009 applicants. Come on spare me.Well, I am really sorry I believe in something which is fact. DIAC said they will start with 495 and 496 in category 5 offshore. Now , Mr. mlsdq is saying he has case officer. You tell me , How would I beleive my dear friend.Ok let's wait for some more people to give the same news in the coming week. So that I can believe that yes DIAC has again made mockery of something which is called "Comittment".Sorry DIAC till date your system was working really well, but if it comes true then I am afraid this is not fair. Didn't you change it during the process? In other words it seems not to be like mine - i.e. straight forward 475 application and never changing my mind about it. Anyway, I would just like to calm everyone down on here. Lets not fall out! We all know DIAC works in mysterious ways and maybe, this application fell between the lines and they are about to start on off-shore CAT5's?! It has got to be a good sign, right? I'm keeping my positivity here :em3900:. Thank you all for your encouraging words. I don't quite know what I would have done if Poms in Oz did not exist! Thank you All! Hey mlsdq, don't worry dear, i believe you, and you did a great job for all the members on this forum....., even if its odd, that's fine you deserve it, by the way my TR was approved last month and i lodged it back in may 2009, DIAC site says they are processing TR 485 application for 2011 and all my friends got their TR before me, even those who have applied after one year so weird things happen, ) by the way add my timeline Applied 485 : 02-05-2009 Granted 485 : 15-03-2012 Applied 487 NSW Regional (Cook) : 15-07-2009 C.O allocated : Waiting ? She got a CO, well good for her, if something is fishy going on, blame DIAC for randomly assigning COs it's not mlsdq fault she got lucky if any of us got allocated a CO by luck, wouldn't you tell this thread as well? all of us know that DIAC is full of promises that rarely kept, we know this years ago when they keep changing the law Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hi mlsdq,congrats mate.what is your occupation and could you plz check if it is on SA smp for 475 or your visa subclass. Could yoi plz let me know abt it . We have seen some s sponsors cat 5 from sept or dec 2009 getting co's. cz their sponsoring state put their occupation on smp so they are no more cat 5er. For ex WA put chef and pastry cook on their smp in last year around Sept and all pastry cook and chefs sponsored by WA.
