  1. ill take note of that.... and i wonder how less would that be? *sigh* thanks a lot for ur help fish.01... at least we have an idea now re that
  2. nope. we didnt use my insurance in every doc visit that we had before since i got pregnant... we paid the doc FULL AMOUNT no discount or whatsoever. and yes, im not sure they send us any policy document via email nor post mail
  3. yup, we shouldered all the doc appointment bills already... we spent around AUD400-500 for all blood tests and checkups... not to include the ultrasound yet which is another fee and another blood test again next month. we can try to afford that just the cost when i give birth as we both want our baby to be safe.. makes me feel scared to death giving birth to my country now coz anything can happen .. and im well taken cared of here yeah, if only we knew there was '12'-month period for pregnancy, we would have waited. the rest of the stuff, i can claim since im more than 2 months here now except the pregnancy.. we didnt know there was waiting period for the private insurance at all by the time we applied on phone... we were not fully informed...
  4. hi, yeah we are aware about that, currently i have a private insurance and no, any pregnancy related medical stuff is not covered since im with the insurance for 3 months now and i need to wait 12 months for any pregnancy related. we actually dont know there was a waiting period like that so thats why we tried for baby as we are old already and its hard on my part as the woman... as with the medicare, if im entitled, do they have waiting period also? thanks
  5. how u mean? can u give me an overview? at least a brief one? before we continue with this agent?
  6. thanks for the grats yeah. but all we want is, we just want the baby to be born here coz im afraid of our medical quality in my country. worst case is, ill go back home, then we will do it. we can sacrifice. (like my partner cant be there during the time of my pregnancy, which is toadly awful *sad* ) as long as there's an option that we can choose to have the baby born here under medicare. thats all that matters now.. the welfare of the baby
  7. hola! hows everyone? whats the latest visa grants??????? still nope????
  8. nope no reciprocal agreement shiz with Oz and im from an asian high-risk country I wonder if you are able to go offshore, apply for the Spouse Visa (which doesn't have that clause) and then re-enter on your 475? - i think thats fine since my 475 is a multiple entry one... i dont know waaaa need to ask my agent again... Would the application for the 309/100 Spouse Visa affect your 475, and would that offshore application give you any Medicare Rights (probably not) - medicare rights check here http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/partners/partner/309-100/ Note: You may also be eligible to enrol in Medicare, if you have applied for, but not yet been granted, this visa. so it means any of those visa right? temp or perm?
  9. because hmmmm immi was playing game on my visa application 'as well as others'. i applied 2009, a year before i met my partner in 2010, and within almost 3 years of waiting, a lot of things had happened to me. i was supposed to get my working visa within 6-8 months when i applied as i was in category 2. diac deprioritize our batch from 2 to 5 then 4 then 5, so the visa finally granted this year and and so i used it.
  10. and we've been a couple for nearly 3 years now, went for tourist here and spent time in thailand together and now under 475 visa
  11. hi georgeD, according to the immi website http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/partners/partner/820-801/not-eligible.htm If you are applying in Australia, you may not be eligible for this visa, if you or your accompanying dependent family members: do not hold a substantive visa (that is; a visa that is not a Bridging visa or a Criminal Justice visa) and your previous visa has ceased hold a visa with a No Further Stay condition (conditions 8503, 8534 or 8535) hold a Sponsored Visitor visa hold a Criminal Justice Entry visa since your last entry to Australia, hold or last held a Skilled-Independent Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 495); or a Skilled-Regional Sponsored (Subclass 475) visa; or a Skilled-Regional Sponsored (Subclass 487) visa and you have not held or did not hold the visa for at least two years have a debt to the Australian Government and have not made satisfactory arrangements to repay the debt have been refused a partner category visa in the last 21 days and hold a Partner (subclass 820) visa or a Partner (subclass 309) visa currently hold a Contributory Parent (subclass 173 or 814) visa. so i am not still eligible our agent told us to go back to my country to apply spouse otherwise wait for 2 years under my 475 *sigh* what do u think?
  12. and i cant apply spouse visa since i need to provide 2 years evidence that i lived in aus under 475 visa to be eligible, right?
  13. thanks for your reply hun, so if we apply onshore temporary spouse visa, i can apply for medicare? really? they changed already the policy? for temporary? im 11 weeks pregnant and u think i can still make it before i give birth? waaaaaaaaa
  14. Hi guys, Any advise is highly appreciated. I am currently in 475 visa (temporary working visa) and got pregnant, and my insurance tells me that im not covered for pregnancy bills coz i need to wait 12 months before getting pregnant to get covered as per my private insurance. been here in aus for 3 months since the time i arrive in aus my question is, me and my aussie citizen partner gonna get married next month, will it entitle me to get eligible with his medicare so i can give birth here for free or lesser amount? i dont wanna go back to my country to give birth there coz im scared of the safety for me and my baby i need ur advise from those who were into this scenario already and we gonna apply for temporary spouse visa after we get married. PS. we need a baby coz we're both old already above 30s
