  1. Grp 4 allocated till 1 June 2012..quite a jump http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...tion-times.htm
  2. Only 100 odd invitations have gone out via Skillselect so far hence explaining quick processing of Group 4. DIAC would want to finish as many applications as it can before issuing thousands of invitations. http://www.australianmigrations.com/_blog/News_Flash/post/An_update_from_SkillSelect/
  3. quite a healthy update for G4s as nearly 4 months of Family Sponsored applicants have been allocated. By start of August all G4s should have a 4 week allocation timeframe.
  4. There is some update on the processing time link on DIAC website. The current 5 priority groups are still listed as it is so no major changes expected in next few days. Just a matter of finding out how they will process Group 5 applications in 2012-2013 financial year. http://www.immi.gov.au/about/charter.../visas/8.0.htm
  5. big news..points test slashed from 65 to 60 http://www.newsroom.immi.gov.au/media_releases/1063
  6. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm just got updated
  7. Absolutely cant believe Sol2Oz hasnt been allocatd CO ? Mate you gotta bang DIAC doors now..NUF waiting
  8. Only Sol2Oz & Oppyddrum remaining in Nov now..
  9. Migration program to have 5.000 more places next year. http://www.theistimes.com/govt-opposition-broad-agreement-on-skilled-migration-program
  10. Sol2Oz where are you mate..Throw in the gud news..will ya ??
  11. I wonder why you are still left behind. Have you called DIAC to find out abt your allocation ??
  12. We all are in this together. Most of Grp 5 applicants are closely following Grp 4 forum as its directly related to the processing of Grp 5 applications once Grp 4 osffshore in finishes up.
  13. All the best to VB & Rahulpatel1969.. I know 5 years is a long wait and that too for a provisional visa..Lets get some allocations and grants happening fast before next update
  14. VB - I guess its quite obvious to everyone that after processing around 15-18 months worth of on-shore Grp 5 applications its clear that DIAC is keen to finish Grp 5 Onshore and then start with Offshore. Even with Grp 4 offshore thats what they did. If DIAC had to allocate Grp 5 offshore they would have done it by now. I don't see rest of 15,000 Grp 5 on shore allocated by May-June nor I see any other change of direction in processing in next month or so so this is just my pure opinion that I don't see any offshore Grp 5 being processed this financial year. We have the stats right in front of us to confirm that.
  15. I don't see anywhere this statement "that "they will process category 5 offshore applicants during this financial year". DIAC have simply said they will process some Group 5 applications which yes they are processing. Onshore has more priority over offshore so far. DIAC has never said that Grp 5 offshore processing will occur THIS FINANCIAL YEAR. All I want is for my brothers and sisters is to have a real hope based on what is happening at present. We all can just speculate but can't control processing.
  16. You have to understand that there are worse people than you currently in Australia waiting for allocations. People sitting on bridging visas for last 3-4 yrs, can't get permanent jobs, paying international fees in schools for children. Atleast offshore applicant's lives are not on hold like the on-shore ones. I really wish that this speculations. clouds, doubts end soon but accept the fact that we are into end of April now and nothing from DIAC about Grp 5 offshore processing yet atleast nothing officially. If DIAC had intention of processing Grp 5 offshore this financial they could have processed some applications simultaneously along with onshore Grp 5. I just don't see DIAC touching any offshore Grp 5 applications till they clear all onshore applications and that could mean still a long wait. There can't be a bigger hint than the fact when DIAC started processing Grp 5 onshore only in Dec 2011.
  17. Things have changed since the early 2000s when DIAC granted 300 thousand plus residencies to people. Planning level is the Capped level. Once the planning level is reached no visas can be issued in that financial year. Having said that we all still expect that atleast all the Group 4 applications will be processed before July 2012. But whats gonna happen to Grp 5 onshore and offshore thats the question. As per my understanding DIAC is not going to touch any Grp 5 applications in the 2012-13 financial year untill the third quarter of the year when they will know that if they are gonna fall short of the program level targets they can then process the Grp 5 to make up for the quota. There are atleast 25-30,000 grp 5 applications in total and we all know not all of these applications are going to be processed in next year due to the fact that there are only around 40,000 migration places.
  18. Every year Govt sets aside a quota of Skilled Visas which can be given to people. Once that quota is reached than the individual gets the visa next year. Yes all the Grp 4 applications will be processed still. 2011-2012 has a quota of around 55,000 skilled visas.
  19. I can bet on it that yearly quota of Skilled Migration is right nearing the end so forget fast processing till July 2012.
  20. I wonder if being from High Risk or Low Risk country makes any difference.. Are you HR or LR Sol2Oz ?
  21. Any luck with CO Sol2Oz ???
  22. DIAC's webpage just got updated and this has to be slowest update ever. group 4 only till 12 Sep 11 and Grp 5 till 22 Dec 08.....The yearly quota for sure has reached its peak and processing is slowing down considerably.
  23. I am sure Oct allocations are all done..Update should be till 1st Nov 2011.
  24. Congrats Swami086....DIAC's next update shld be Application Allocated till 10th Nov 2011.
  25. Have you got a CO assigned arunbir22 ??
