@Sam2009- I applied for 885 on the 1st of Feb 2009. You could give DIAC a ring just to see how applicants are chosen for CO allocation? Cos it does seem VERY random.

@vick3- Just the usual- health clearance and PCC (AFP and from my home country).

Anyway things are moving again, so fret not guys!

Guys, I just did an application enquiry online, and now i see an update today stating :

"e-Mail sent to you".

However as I go through a migration lawyer, the email hasnt come to me, and I cant get to my migration lawyers till Monday.

Does anyone know what this update means and whether they got this update when they got allocated a CO?

I'm a 20 Jan 2009 885 applicant.

Hi,

Why Have they asked for a PCC from your home country and not JUST the AFP?

Is it because you have traveled overseas or to your home country since the lodgement of your application? Have you provided any PCC from your home country to DIAC at time of lodging your application?

I had previously asked my agent whether it was necessary for me to get a PCC from my home country; she has advised me not to do so unless I travel overseas or to my country!
