  1. Hi guys just wanted to share some good news.....PR granted today for both myself and my wife. It has been a long wait and a rough ride but at the end was worth it. Pls never loose hope your turn will come definitely even if it takes a bit longer t achieve thank you all for your support and best luck to all of you applied for 886 FS on 28/01/2009 IELTS 6.5, 7, 8,7 CO appointed 28 march 2013 visa granted today occupation : life scientist high risk country there was a bit of delay in granting the visa because wife was pregnant but finally we were able to do medical and visa granted around 2 months later
  2. hi guys, It has been 3 months since I submitted all documents required to my CO, still haven't heard anything yet from DIAC , I contacted the Co and he said mu application still going through normal processing procedures, I guess because I m from a High risk country does any body know how long it may take to have decision after CO allocation for people from High risk countries? Thanks. I see people getting PR within days after CO allocation. It is so unfair applied Jan 2009 for 886. CO appointed in March
  3. submitted all documents 2 months ago still no Grant yet applied for 886 /Jan 2009 Co appointed around end of march
  4. Congrats to all who got co allocated I uploaded all documents requested by CO except medical for my pregnant wife which will be done next week. by the way I wanted to clarify something that DIAC accept medical from pregnant applicant she doesn't have to wait until giving birth, but she has to wait at leat until second trimester "If a pregnant visa applicant is prepared to undergo a chestx-ray, it is recommended that she consults with her doctorbefore arranging her appointment for a chest x-ray and thatspecial precautions are taken (eg. using a protective leadshield and waiting until at least the second trimester). Apregnant visa applicant must sign the declaration on page 4before undergoing a chest x-ray." 886 applied Jan 2009, Co allocated 25 March
  5. thanks Ricky and all of you, its true there is no real evidence that x ray can harm the baby, but will the medical centre let me do the xray test or not? that's the big question. I ll try to call them tomorrow and see what they advise as well I ll contact my case officer. this life is funny after waiting for over 4 years for CO, now I have one but I can not go ahead with my checks.... but at the end my baby is worth to me than anything in life. we ll see what will happen... thank you guys
  6. yes, co allocated Friday. Co from team 8 asked for health, police checks, form 80 today, she was quick to make contact

hi guys urgently needing help. Case officer requested medical checks from myself (main applicant) and my wife, the problem is my wife is 1 month pregnant, and I think she will not be allowed to have X ray test. is this true?. my other question will decision on my application stays on hold until my baby birth which then my wife can have her medical test? or they can process my application and my wife turn comes later after birth? please I need help

  10. No, waiting for CO contact, I do have a CO
  11. people can wait up to 8 months after allocation especially if you are from a HR country, you need to be patient mate as you only had CO few days ago, wish you speedy grant
  12. there is no time waste if you wait until Co allocation, its only going to take you 2 weeks maximum to provide all checks required unless police check in your country takes longer to be issued. I frontloaded all my checks last year and they are already expired now, now I have to redo them again as Co was allocate 3 days ago. was a waste of money... but still its your own call especially when you know allocation coming to you for sure in the near future. good luck
  13. If you read below the allocation table you will understand what it does mean... it means limited places available for Family sponsored applicants
  14. If your application is in one of the categories listed below, ensure all relevant information and required supporting documentation has been provided to the department, including undertaking any outstanding health and character clearances before your application is allocated: Priority Group 3 Priority Group 4 – lodged within one month of the dates listed in the Allocation table above Priority Group 5 – lodged within two weeks of the dates listed in the in the Allocation table above (subclasses 487 and 886 only) Priority Exempt – lodged within three months of the dates listed in the Priority Exempt table above.
  15. "Priority Group 5 – lodged within two weeks of the dates listed in the in the Allocation table above (subclasses 487 and 886 only)" I read this as good news for G5 FS but not for 885 as they are not encouraged to front load their checks, it looks like they are going to process more FS applicants until they catch up with 885 applicants
